You know, i had an open mind about this. TMNT isn't the most well thought concept and I could accept some changes but come on. Shredder is a japanese ninja, how hard is that to understand? I've officially lost any interest in this movie.

LMAO at "Eric Sachs" sounds like the name of a dodgy car salesman. Fichtner will probably be the only good thing about this movie along with Megan Fox's bum. I'm still interested to see how the turtles are going to look. I'll wait for the trailer before dismissing it entirely, turtles will probably blow up after this movie.

They casted a white guy for crying outloud.

Even if he has japanese background (and based on Fichtner's response, he may), they could NEVER give him the name "Oroku Saki".

Also, I love how you guys go from bitching that a white guy is playing "Oroku Saki" to bitching that Oroku Saki WON'T be his name.

This movie is gonna make so much money because of general audience but its gonna suck so bad story wise. I know everyone is gonna check it out anyway, like hey, what can you do. Honestly in my opinion, I just wanna see what the turtles are gonna look like. I bet Master Splinter will be a random white guy who found ooze and his real name is Ashter Linter.

That's why people are bitching. This movie is a mess.

I would rather people stop saying its white washing (which it is in away) and accept this as a new take on the character.

Just because they have changed the character's skin color, does not mean its disrespectful or will be bad in comparison to the original.
