^to his healing factor I would imagine. Hence the name Killable. I could be wrong though. I really love this old-schoolish art style

This is going to be interesting. I think the time is now for Cornell to make his mark on Wolverine, or got out with a big dud.

Aliens from the microverse kinda shut down his healing factor....

Everyone with control over viruses was being killed off except for this one thats in Wakanda. Wolvie needs her to kill off the virus so his healing factor can be back to 100%

I was just talking about their fight in 82’. I don’t think Wolverine is fighting under his own influence so it wouldn’t be fair but I will and can’t wait to read this one. Kick his @$$ T'Challa

I really hope they don't actually kill off Wolverine like they do to si many characters these days he still stands as one of my favorite characters to read.

I though they said earlier this year they were going to kill wolverine so he might actually die but i highly doubt it

BTW Antimetal (Vibranium) does cut Adamantium

I hope they show Wolverine's fighting skills. He should stalemate T'Challa.

I think the Marvel U could stand to have Wolverine dead for a couple of years.

I agree people will grow fonder of him if they miss him. He would have one of the dopiest comic funerals in history.

Honestly, Wolvie is getting boring again and the overexposure isn't helping. He needs to lose all of his memories again. All of his memories and then they should make him a villain. That would make things interesting.

I remember when Wolverine used to be cool. That was when I was a 13 year boy. Now he's a bore.

@ Marvelpsycho: Operative word, "was"

Kill the little grouch. He's in EVERYTHING and he has no forward momentum to his character anymore. A mild case of death might help him regain some mystique.

Yes the very rare antarctic version of Vibrainium (Anitmetal) will destabilize any kind of metal. Not just regular Vibrainium.
TheWolverine08

I honestly don't understand the complaint of Wolverine being in too many books. It happens to all top tier characters. Superman, Batman, etc. If you don't like a character, just don't buy the books they're in. *shrugs*

"the biggest Wolverine event in years" sounds like the promotional material for every comic book ever these days.
SwingsetKnight
SwingsetKnight - 8/8/2013, 11:31 AM
@ Wolverine08: It's not Wolverine's book that people complain about, it's that if they want to read any team book anywhere, Wolverine is going to turn up eventually. Want to read Avengers? Wolverine. Want to read X-Men? Wolverine. X-Force? Wolverine. Even in other stories, he's used as a generic "badass to beat" whenever they want to hype a new character or what-have-you. It's basically become a Marvel universe law that you can't get away from him. Wolverine is omnipresent and apparently owns a private jetliner to get him back and forth across the country for various cameos.

TheWolverine08 - 8/8/2013, 11:35 AM
@SwingsetKnight It's the same with Batman and Superman in DC. Like I said, what you described happens to all top tier characters.
SwingsetKnight
SwingsetKnight - 8/8/2013, 11:35 AM
Now, if Batman was on the Justice League but also on the JLA and JL Dark, PLUS served as mentor/cameo fodder for the Teen Titans, we'd be approaching Wolverine levels of overexposure. Bats, though, mostly just keeps to his own (gazillion) books all about his group in Gotham. He's avoidable if you really want to avoid him, outside of the events.

wolverine was cool from 74-90s,then they just milked the shit out of their cash cow & pretty much ruined him apart from a couple of decent storylines that came later.

as for this black panther vs wolverine could be shit hot if done right.
