Full Moon Fever Comic-to-Film in the works by Solipsist Films

Werewolves transform during full moons, so what if the werewolf is on the moon?
Joe Casey's Graphic Novel 'Full Moon Fever' is being develop by Solipsist films alongside several other comic properties.

The story revolves around a lunar waste disposal technician, Zeke Kirby, who arrives on a lunar station, then finds out that there is something very wrong with the place. Enter: Werewolf on the moon.

The project was previously optioned to be developed by director Renny Harlin, but currently it is in the loving hands of producer Stephen L'Heureux and Joe Casey himself is on board for the film adaptation of his Graphic novel.

Expect this film to deliver an Alienesque atmosphere with a lot of thrills and laughs.

Werewolf movies are always fun, I feel its hard to do wrong about werewolf stories. Werewolf on the moon is definitely a novel idea, and i'll pretty much would like to watch this flick.

Is it really that wrong of me that I'd like to see a movie of "Werewolves on the Moon: Versus Vampires?"

I thought it was a pretty funny and inventive series.

necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 9:16 AM
@ necrosage2005 that would be a cool movie i would pay to see. Dark horse had some good comics.
cris1986 - 11/5/2009, 10:48 AM
cris1986, that just came out this year. I got all 3 of the issues. Good stuff.
necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 11:12 AM
the only way to kill a werewolf is with a silver bullet, therefore he would not be grasping for air on the moon cause he it wouldnt kill him.
superdog - 11/5/2009, 11:25 AM
all this is reminding me of twilight...
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 12:02 PM

Sparkling emopires just suck all the way around.
necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 12:11 PM
necrosage: LOL!!! HEHE... I HATED the movie... the book not so bad... but its not so different is it? =P werewolves and vampires just so cliche at this point all around imho... (dont kill me)
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 12:14 PM
Didn't read the books because I'm into reading The Wheel of Time right now. When I heard that she didn't know anything about vampires because they are "too scary," and made her emopires *SPARKLE* in the daylight, that was enough to keep me away from the movie, too. Vampires are evil blood drinking killers. If you want to have whining emotional teens with a Romeo and Juliet complex keep them as something else. If you want to have them *SPARKLE* in the daylight, I'd suggest making them into FAIRIES!!
necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 12:22 PM
LOL! I HAD to read them! I have a dau who wanted to read them and I must read anything first to see if its ok for her. I know what you're saying though. =) Its not so bad though really. How is that book you hooked on now? any good? The Wheel of Time? sounds familiar.
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 12:27 PM
KeepItReal, what is a "dau?"

Its a 12 book series written by Robert Jordan(RIP). He died a few years ago of a rare blood disease and his wife chose a fan AND author to help complete the series. The newest book, "The Gathering Storm" just came out last week, and its already reached #1 on the New York Time's book list. Its a sci-fi series. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wheel_of_Time.

The Necroscope Series is written by Brian Lumley is a series of books is about vampires, but they ARE evil killers like they are supposed to be. Info on that is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necroscope_(series)

Both have been made into GN's, hopefully they will also be turned into movies/shows.
necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 12:59 PM
NECRO @ Cool buddy, im gonna get them!!

GUN @ Yeah man!!
LEEE777 - 11/5/2009, 1:16 PM
necro: dau=daughter. I have picked up on text lingo from my teenage daughter hehe.. (gotta keep up with her if I want to know whats going on ya know ;) thank you for the 411. I will check out that out.

I have to make a trip to Barnes and Nobles but I usually come out disappointed. They never seem to have anything I want though they are good about ordering it if they could find it.
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 1:22 PM
KeepItReal, oh, ok. I didn't know that one. Glad to say that I don't have any, so I tend to stay away from the text slang that seems to be everywhere.

I've got a Borders closer to me, so I usually check them out before I head over to Barnes and Noble. Those 2 series are tied for my favorite novels. They can't be more different from eachother, but they are great.

The new book

necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 1:36 PM
oh my... That 1st one looks very scary. Dont know if I will read that. i can handle like ann rice type. is it along those lines.. probably not huh..
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 1:40 PM
Its found in the horror section with King's books, so if you like emopires (emotional "vampires"), probably not. There is SOME romance involved, though. Lumley has been compared to Bram Stoker's Dracula. If you can read that, you should be pretty good.
necrosage2005 - 11/5/2009, 2:06 PM
yes... bram stoker... i love that one. classic. then maybe i can check it out. =) thanks.
KeepItReal - 11/5/2009, 2:25 PM
The more painful the transformation the better!
