I came across this over at scifisquad.com. Apparently its a bit like Kung Fu Hustle with a CBM twist. Its a Filipino movie about Magno Meneses (Manny Pacquiao), an ordinary man who develops superpowers and must battle his arch-nemesis, played by WWE wrestler Dave Batista.

Wapakman is scheduled to play at the Metro Manila Film Festival, which opens on December 25th.

He has been perennially trying to enter Politics (to serve his country men) and show business . He has already been successful in endorsing products and setting up a business. Being a boxer is very tough job and Manny at 30 is not getting younger.

I guess its the same with many sportsmen I know who dreams of becoming secure, appreciated and starring in his own comic book movie. I say give the man a break and have his fun. Although I am concerned about his fight with Mayweather. Oh well win or lose he's already a legend in his own right and he'll earn millions in one night. Just hope he doesn't embarrass himself in the process.

You know what's funny. I am a Filipino and I am trying to come up with a good story I can contribute here in CBM. And this went under my nose! In fact this news is popular in the Philippines because Manny was allegedly linked to one of his co-stars which cause so much buzz.

Yeah Access please do. But I hope aside from videos of the movie version you could find the actual original artwork of the Komiks. I do have have forgotten how the real Lizardo and Panday looks in Komiks. Wish you luck.

Dave Batista is not in this found no info of him been part of this film. only connecting he has with this movie is that Dave Batista is half Filipino lol

@jacksinmybox-there was a manny pacquiao biopic movie that was released in the philippines i think in december 2007.

I dont know im about looking Kick ass but it looks funny. Love Pac-Man but come March, Money Mayweather will hold his undefeated title down.
