Rumor: Selina Kyle(Catwoman?) As Batman 3's Villain?

Take this one with a PLATE of salt, but the rumor is: Miss Kyle will be digging her claws into Batman in Chris Nolan's final movie in the trilogy.

I received some info from a reliable source that Selina Kyle will be a part of the next Batman movie. The problem is, the rumor didn't originate with my source! It's more like one of those heard it from a friend type deals. Anyway, apparently said friend got a glimpse at some "script notes" from Nolan's upcoming Batman 3. I find it a bit hard to believe that any scribblings pertaining to Chris and brother Jonathan Nolan's script would be circulating around any offices! But there you go.



According to this guy, these script notes made a few references to Selina Kyle as a character. Kyle, as every Bat fan knows, becomes Catwoman. So if this is true, expect to see her don the leathers, as it's unlikely Nolan would bring in Kyle and not her villainous alter ego with this being his last bat-movie.

So like I said, don't read anything into this for now. Honestly, I'm only posting it because it's a slow news day. I've learned that you just never know with these things. So how do you guys think Catwoman would fit into Nolan's Bat world?

Isn't it weird that Batman Begins referenced Two Face and Joker. Then TDK referenced Catwoman and Riddler...hmm....conspiracies.

She's the only plausible villain to fit in Batman 3. Rachel Dawes is dead. I don't wanna see much of her, but it makes sense.

I wonder if Nolan would get Marion Cotillard if he used Catwoman. I certainly wouldn't mind that, based off of Inception.

My top pick for Catwoman would be Kate Beckinsale, but Jessica Alba could probably pull it off. Certainly couldn't be any worse of a performance than when she played Susan Storm.

Anybody but catwoman she is boring and we see her too much. I juss watched batman under the red hood and I think Black mask and riddler would be awesome and they should mention the Joker at least but no Catwoman!

even tho, this is probably fake. RIDDLER AND CATWOMAN ARE THE BEST CHOICES FOR THIS FILM. people dont want to realize it, cus love interest will ruin the movie. look at inception. it can be done again in this one.
RIDDLER WANTS TO RUIN EVERYTHING IN GOTHAM AS BRUCE AND SELINA ARE LOVES, BUT BAT AND THE CAT HATE EACH OTHER. THEN FALL IN LOVE AFTER REALIZING THEIR IDENTITIES.

as for catwoman & the riddler,great news.but they should recast the joker,add bane & killer croc,set it in arkham asylum & have nightwing team up with batman.

batman 3 arkham asylum = best batman film ever.

I'm srry, i didnt want to do a article about this, but I think everyone has it wrong. It WILL BE THE LAST CHRIS NOLAN, but you cant just end Batman movies, not the nolan ones, not yet, SO it may be CHRIS nolans last Batman, BUT it doesnt mean the HIS BROTHER JONAH cant step in after his older brother and Man of Steel.

Although I don't even fully get behind this particular source myself, I do think that regardless, Catwoman will make an appearance. Like a few others have said, there is no way that a big Hollywood movie..even one by Nolan, will be without some kind of female presence, be it love interest or antagonist or both. So yeah Talai Al Ghul could work but after that who are we left with? Vikki Vale again? Don't think so. maybe they invent a character but I doubt that too. Like Ecks, I would rather Catwoman than The Riddler anyway! Have Black Mask too and you got a damn good story there.

Great work ROR! :) I'd love to Christopher Nolan's take on Catwoman although I've never found the character to be all that great to be honest...Talia Al Ghul would make for an interesting love interest but if that would mean Ra's as a villain again, I'd pass on her. For now, Riddler/Catwoman sounds pretty awesome for Batman 3 IMO!

I'd go with Carla too, although she's not a fantastic actress, she's solid and would be good in that role i'd say. I also think Rosario Dawson would be good.
