New Images From THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY In Total Film (Low Res)

We have already seen Bilbo Baggins on the cover of Total Film's upcoming issue but now we have the scanned images from inside the mag, featuring more shots of Bilbo and the Dwarves..

The following images were scanned from the upcoming Hobbit themed issue of Total Film by the lads over at The One Ring.net. As you can see they feature new shots of Martin Freeman as our diminutive hero Bilbo Baggins, as well as a few of the Dwarves who will accompany him on his quest. Handsome bunch aren't they?

Those last two pics look to be from the aftermath of the gang's encounter with three hungry, but dim witted Trolls in the forest. The first trailer for Peter Jackson's LOTR prequel will hit tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled. My precious.

Can't wait for both parts of this film. Loved the book. Looking forward to seeing this prequel adapted on the big screen. Also can't wait to see Gollum again.

I'm not really nitpicking on the article, just correcting......but that second to last picture is DEFINITELY in Mirkwood. You can tell because of the crazy colors on the tree roots. In the "Making Of" the guys on set, as well as Peter Jackson, were talking about how those colors wont actually be that vibrant in the film.....they will color correct the finished film and make it look like an actual forest should look.

....therefore, perhaps they either are about to get a rude awakening and face off against some eight-legged creatures (if you know what I mean) OR just finished doing so?

first two shots are from bad end "the dwarves arrival", third im guessing is Mirkwood, and finally im assuming is the aftermath of the battle of five armies.

^Negative...no battle of the five armies in the first film.
