UPDATED: AMC has released the following statement in response to this story.

"The post on the AMC store was completely unauthorized. The matter is currently under investigation."

AMC seem to have inadvertently spoiled the upcoming three remaining episodes in Season 2 of The Walking Dead. As THR point out, an advert on AMC's website offering pre-orders of season 2 on Blu-ray would seem to confirm a few rumors that have been circulating recently. Don't read on past the pic if you don't want to know the details!

...bonus features such as: the making of the barn, an extended zombie gut scene, Shane’s last episode…

Well, I think that's fairly cut and dry don't you? It seems Joe Bernthal's Shane won't be making it to season 3 alive after all. This won't come as a shock to many, since his character died pretty early on in the comics. But the decision to keep him alive in the show thsi long led some to believe that he would remain a cast regular for a while longer. What do you guys think of this?
