“I, Frankenstein” is a contemporary fantasy thriller in which the original monster of Victor Frankenstein stands between the human race and an uprising of supernatural creatures determined to overthrow the world.

The movie is based on the graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux, and is directed by Stuart Beattie. It also stars Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski and Mirando Otto.

Aaron Eckhart's a badass actor. Don't know much about the graphic novel, but I'll watch any movie he's in, so I'll be seeing this when it arrives...
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 4/16/2012, 6:43 PM
I was expecting Aaron's face to look a little...disfigured and rotting. But, we shall see soon enough.

I don't get why Dr. Frankie would sew different faces together? Or is that even what this is meant to represent? Not familiar with the graphic novel.

@ grif I think this is the only time that I have ever visited this site and you haven't been reported!

Looks cool and I do like the Frankenstein mythology, but there is no way people are going to sit through this movie and watch it without saying, "Isn't that Two-Face!?" lol.
LoudLon - 4/16/2012, 8:03 PM
Aaron Eckhart and Bill Nighy is enough to sell me. Two fantastic actors, there. I'll be checking this one out.

AlexDeLarge87 - 4/17/2012, 12:47 AM
Looks ok to me. Could be a cool movie.

Bernie Wrightson´s version of the monster is still the best tho.
De Niro comes second. He was [frick]ing badass.
jimoakley666 - 4/17/2012, 2:27 AM
Hmm. The premise sounds like that crappy Constantine film from a few years ago but with Frnakenstein's monster in the lead instead of that other lump of dead meat, Keanu Reeves.

[frick]ing hell. What a turd that was. Instead of a tortured blonde scoucer, we had a mopey dark-haired yank stoner, dyuuude. [frick] beans...

Anywho, is this the one where Frankie's monster is a private eye? Or is that something completely different again?
dnno1 - 4/17/2012, 6:49 AM

Reminds me of the guy above.
Dedpool - 4/17/2012, 6:53 AM
