Any Judge Dredd fan will tell you that among the best stories in the incorruptible lawman's back catalogue are those featuring the fearsome Dark Judges. But it's been 10 years since we have seen them grace the pages of 2000AD, until now. Prog 1718 sees the return of Judges Fear, Fire, and Mortis. Obviously someone is missing there, but no doubt he will pop up soon enough. Here are some scans from
DJ Food..

This is the ultimate end of a story that's been running for the past 12 months concerning the collapse of the social structure of Mega-City-One instigated by terrorists using asymmetrical warfare: Day of Chaos.

Death approves of this.

Mixture of old school and new school styles on this one. Best art I've seen all year.

Trapped somewhere in oblivion. He broke out of containment years ago, 3 were left. This is part of another story that doesn't only involve the Dark Judges.
Asterisk - 4/29/2012, 5:13 PM
I don't know anything about Dredd or 2000AD so I'll just come out and ask it...

Did it really reach 1718 issues?!

@Asterisk I believe that is what they are at, but it comes out once a week. They are really at prog 1781, 1718 was a typo.
