Yes! Here's to Cyclops and the rest of the X-Men kicking their asses. :)
StrangerX - 5/9/2012, 11:50 AM
Huh!! that's a lot of characters to kill off.
SageMode - 5/9/2012, 11:50 AM
I really hope this isn't the case. The X-Men have lost their appeal ever since the 90s, and Cykes is just an ass.

AVENGERS babay!!!!
TheActionAce - 5/9/2012, 11:54 AM

KalElOdinson - 5/9/2012, 11:54 AM
Of course they wait for the Avengers movie to pass before they pull something like this. Marvel isn't stupid.
JustDame - 5/9/2012, 11:56 AM
Coipel!
EmoSpidey - 5/9/2012, 11:57 AM
Killing off the Avengers right after the release and huge success of the movie? Hmmm. I don't see that happening.
jazzman - 5/9/2012, 11:58 AM

Everyone knows the Avengers are going to come out over all winners. They may have lost a battle but the war isnt over yet, just sayin'
MB007 - 5/9/2012, 12:05 PM
No, Avengers must win, they're way awesome-er!! :-)

BTW:
@Ironman53 Dude, AWESOME gif! :-D
Chewtoy - 5/9/2012, 12:07 PM
@jazzman: Eh, that won't be the only group to try and piggyback attention from the film by manufacturing some outrage. Every film that becomes a cultural phenomenon has to deal with it.

Is it an insensitive joke? Yeah, probably. Is there any kid in America who didn't make jokes like that about their siblings growing up? Probably not many.

StrangerX - 5/9/2012, 12:15 PM

LordGalactus49 - 5/9/2012, 12:20 PM
You are welcome StrangerX.
xstryker - 5/9/2012, 12:21 PM
Please keep Bendis far away from my X Men.
superotherside - 5/9/2012, 12:27 PM
Yeah right. They'll assemble again in a few issues even if there is no more... same thing with Avengers Dissembled.
Chewtoy - 5/9/2012, 12:33 PM
I don't know if we'll get our daily Avengers Box Office post today, but it's crossed $500m in foreign box office, making it the 2nd most successful comic book film ever outside the United States. (The Dark Knight topped off at $468m, Spider-Man 3 however made $554m... a number Avengers may surpass before the weekend begins.)

Worldwide total now $744m.
StuckInPanels - 5/9/2012, 12:43 PM
the series is 12 issues so even if it ROUND 2 features no more Avengers, that still doesn't mean there won't be heroes around to fight back. Its all in the wording.
AlanWarlock - 5/9/2012, 12:59 PM
Marvel used to be "the House of Ideas." Now it's like the "Mobile Home of Recycled Ideas."
marvel72 - 5/9/2012, 1:02 PM
been a fan of the x-men for years, they're the reason i got into comics.

the series is twelve issues long,so expect to see them return by the end.
spideyxmenfan307 - 5/9/2012, 1:28 PM
meh, there is no way that marvel is going to let the avengers "disassemble"" after the success the movie is doing.

I still want the avengers to win, though.
darkmetal - 5/9/2012, 1:29 PM
@Chewtoy Box office Mojo has the numbers. Yesterday it made 18 million.
darkmetal - 5/9/2012, 1:37 PM
The Marvel Events always sound like a good idea, but they stretch out the story too much. By the time it ends, you dont even care.
And Civil War was a rip off of Watchmen and Incredibles.
If Marvel used the same plot from the Avengers movie, it would be told in 20 titles, 6 issues each + 3 mini series. Even a great story cant be stretched that far and still be great.
Theyre too lazy and untalented to write self contained stories or stories that have a real beginning, middle and end.
They cram every damn character into everything and its just a big QUESADA STINK PILE! Its Joes Cup O Crap!
CrimsonComedian - 5/9/2012, 1:42 PM
@Inturder

Mike Deodato on ASM would be the most. . . . amazing. . . . thing ever. He's my favorite artist. You can't beat him.
Nightmare7 - 5/9/2012, 3:01 PM
@SteveRogersSon
Dale Keown is the best Hulk artist,Adam Kurbert's Hulk run was pretty good too..
Wildaniel - 5/9/2012, 3:54 PM
Wanda comes back in this issue too, here is the variant cover.

hawkeye1 - 5/9/2012, 5:34 PM
wrong it has 12 [frick]ing issues impossible
FightmasterNoel - 5/9/2012, 5:43 PM
I think theyll have most avengers die. And then get some non xmen heros to join with the little number of avengers left. and keep the war going.
TheMyth - 5/9/2012, 5:54 PM
Nomis, Love Sal Buscema Hulk man great call!
Shaman - 5/10/2012, 5:19 AM
If your hero has muscles, Dale Keown's the best artist PERIOD. I wouldn't see him draw Spidey, but the second your hero has more muscle than the average guy, if you're not too bothered by deadlines, Dale's your man!
