New IMAX Tv Spot For THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Yesterday we had the IMAX poster, today the tv spot. There are some great new shots in here, and also a bit of new dialogue from Bane and Batman..



It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.


The Dark Knight Rises is almost with us, see it in theaters July 20th.

I actually love Bane voice's there's something so sinister and evil about it.

And that shot of the Bat looking amazing.

That kick from Catwoman looking brilliant.

Hathaway will own so much.

I haven't seen a whole lot of dialogue between batman and bane but I hope they're saving it like the did the interrogation scene in the dark knight, it's gonna be epic

I've already preordered my IMAX tickets - it's the first time I've preordered anything, and it'll be my first time watching an IMAX film... I'm so excited! I'm probably going to stop going on this site by the 19th of July, and only use it again once I've seen the film. I really want to go into this knowing nothing of the plot, and that's going to be so hard to do...

Bought my first IMAX tickets today. The closer it gets to the release date the more excited I get.

Same ole recycled clips. They give you absolutely NOTHING! Lol. Its a good thing though.

I really did like the sound of the voice in the previous trailers but honestly if you hadn't said that he said "We will destroy Gotham" I probably would've had to play it back to understand. Although all the other dialogue I've heard sounds relatively clear.

And is it just me or does Bane sound a bit like Jeff Bridges in Tron when he says "Let the games begin"? It sounds like they've used the same effect they did with Clu in Tron Legacy on his voice.

I've been loving the classic villain approach to Bane from day one. People were looking for that heavy metal, commercial wrestler voice because of his appearance. But no, a classic villain similar to vintage Bond or Batman's classic rogue gallery is presented. Monstrous looking dude speaking like a demented scholar.

I don't think I have been more excited for a movie. This movie is going to be so amazing. Tom Hardy looks and sounds so sinister and totally badass I think his performance could be on par with Heath Ledger's Joker.
