TO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL 2012

LG Electronics Bring Fans Exclusive Content And A Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunity To Watch Never-Before-Seen Footage From Upcoming Film Releases – Hosted By Some of Hollywood’s Top Talent While IMAX Will Showcase One Of The Cameras Used To Film The Dark Knight Rises In The Legendary Booth.

Burbank, CA – July 10, 2012 –Legendary Entertainment is prepared to deliver to fans an intimate look at its upcoming movie and comic releases during the upcoming Comic-Con International 2012. With a strong lineup of talent, and an unforgettable viewing experience in 3D and HD, Legendary’s booth is the hub for fans to be part of the action with panel sessions, autograph signings, and giveaways - all surrounding the company’s high-profile film and comic releases.

Additionally, a select group of lucky fans will get taken behind-the-scenes for an opportunity to see exclusive footage from upcoming movies presented by Legendary and LG – hosted by Legendary’s directors and producers. For a complete list of Legendary activities at the convention, please see below:

Comics

Comic-Con International will be a true coming out party for Legendary’s Comic division. In addition to providing new details on the label’s fall release – The Tower Chronicles – Legendary will unveil a parade of the top names in the industry who be announcing all new IPs. The talent will be hosting a Legendary Comics panel on Thursday, July 12 at 5 pm in Room 6A. Additionally, each of them will be signing in Legendary’s booth throughout the convention.

The build-up to the release of Legendary’s first original IP, The Tower Chronicles, continues as Comic-Con will be the venue for the reveal of compelling assets and information. Telling the story of supernatural bounty hunter John Tower, the three-part series features a story created by Legendary Entertainment’s Chairman and CEO Thomas Tull. The book is being written by Matt Wagner (Grendel) and drawn by Simon Bisley (2000 AD).

Film

On the film side, Legendary’s booth will feature the Mini Tumbler from The Dark Knight Rises, two costumes from Pacific Rim, both of which have never been seen, and artwork from future films like Man of Steel. Additionally, Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro will be signing in the booth on Friday. Legendary will also give attendees a peek inside the company’s upcoming projects with exclusive content on LG 3D and HD TVs and smartphones. For fans who want to find out the most up-to-date details and insider information on Legendary’s film slate, the company will have a presence in Hall H on Saturday.

LG Partnership

In addition to the activities at the Legendary booth and Hall H, the company, along with consumer electronics giant LG, will be offering lucky fans an opportunity win The Pass. By following Legendary’s social media platforms or visiting the booth during the show fans will get the chance to come to the Legendary booth at a specified time each day to win a T-shirt. A group of randomly selected fans will have a bonus wrapped in their shirts – a pass to one of two special behind-closed-doors screenings to show exclusive never-been-seen content. Taking place on Saturday night and on Sunday afternoon, these screenings will provide Pass recipients the chance to watch never-before seen footage from a selection of upcoming films (although the actual films are not being announced they will be selected from a group of high-profile releases that could include, but is not limited to, Pacific Rim, Seventh Son, and more). Each screening, which will be shown on top of the line LG CINEMA 3D Smart TVs with 3D and True HD displays, will be hosted by esteemed talent associated with upcoming Legendary features.

IMAX Partnership

Through a partnership with IMAX, the booth will showcase one of the IMAX cameras used on the production of The Dark Knight Rises. An IMAX representative on hand to answer visitors' questions about the technology and filming process.

That's the booth not the Hall H presentation...
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 7/10/2012, 9:50 AM
They will probably do it towards the end. Snyder will say something like, now this is what you really want to see. Turn out the lights and show a 30-60 second sizzle reel. Anyway I wasn't really expecting much from this movie at Comic Con. It will still be nice to get people's reaction of the footage.
marvel72 - 7/10/2012, 9:52 AM
what a load of crap, they could at least of shown a teaser trailer.
Dynamo - 7/10/2012, 9:53 AM
Yeah, this is just talking about the Legendary Booth. It doesn't mean what Warner Bros are bringing to the Hall H Presentation.
Dynamo - 7/10/2012, 9:56 AM
WB have a 2 and a half hour spot at hall H. I doubt there won't be any footage shown.
RorMachine - 7/10/2012, 10:01 AM
Yes, apologies, I forgot about the Hall H presentation, above is just Legendary's booth plans..false alarm!
JDUKE25 - 7/10/2012, 10:22 AM
Whew.... I was about to get aggravated if all we were gonna get was artwork. Don't get me wrong, that's something but they've been done filming for how long? We need a teaser or something. Hopefully WB will have official pics or a teaser of some kind.
Scooby - 7/10/2012, 10:24 AM

Big time Supes fan.. they better give him justice in this film.. show his true full power.. ahhhh
6of13 - 7/10/2012, 10:39 AM
I don't need 3D to watch Superman and Zod have a Dragon Ball Z type battle.
HankHill - 7/10/2012, 10:42 AM
Artwork? That's just asinine! I 'm not takin' Bobby out there anyway. Comic Con needs to come down to Arlen, I'll tell ya what.
ACira - 7/10/2012, 10:43 AM
I hope there's a Man Of Steel teaser or trailer attached to The Dark Knight Rises... and a Hobbit one, too!
Tony93 - 7/10/2012, 10:46 AM

DocBeez - 7/10/2012, 10:55 AM

Nomis1800 - 7/10/2012, 11:13 AM
This is great!!! I really want to see that artwork!!! When I was reading that about IMAX, I hoped it would've said about MOS but it's from TDKR :P Also more than fine of course. I hope enough leaks on the internet :D
G - 7/10/2012, 11:36 AM
"Maybe"??? WTF do they mean "maybe"? We better get some footage. What's all this "maybe" stuff?
DocBeez - 7/10/2012, 11:48 AM
Ya...kinda corny. But whatever.
blkyank - 7/10/2012, 12:23 PM
Ah Grif, another knee jerk drive by on a DC film. The promotion of MOS will be mostly handled by WB who will give us a trailer at the panel on Saturday.
JULEZ13 - 7/10/2012, 1:29 PM
YESSSS!! Some artwork! I would like that very much. I need a new desktop pic and a new cover photo on my facebook page!

Still waiting on that teaser trailer though - so much that I had a dream about watching it and I have to say, it was AWESOME!! I'm about 99.9% sure it'll be shown at CC then during TDKR.

The anticipation is deathly!!
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 7/10/2012, 1:34 PM
This is the Legendary booth, not the Warner Bros. booth.
