is that an IMAX camera?
storyteller - 7/18/2012, 11:20 AM
Either they really photograph Nolan well or Nolan is always photoready. I keep forgetting he's the director and not one of the actors.
Nubase - 7/18/2012, 11:22 AM
from July 20th this site will having nothing but the dark knight rises to focus on, and thats a good thing!

I'll probably see this film twice in IMAX, and at least two more times in a regular theater.

Yeah just finishing off my review now, be up soon:)
ElDuce74 - 7/18/2012, 11:45 AM
@cock: Why take it there? Marvel has done 4 Movies of very high quality(IM, CA, Thor, Avengers), one better than most (Hulk), and one so-so (IM2). DC: 3 Dark Knight movies...(cricket's chirping)...Green Lantern. Settle down. Don't make it about Marvel vs DC. Just be happy we are getting good films...except for Green Lantern.

Gmoney84 - 7/18/2012, 11:55 AM
@ElDuce74...Don't forget the amazing masterpiece (POS) that was Superman Returns.
whoelsebutkevin - 7/18/2012, 12:01 PM
@ Ror

You handle this site well especially with spoilers. From one Fan to another, I truly appreciate that. Looking forward to your review sir.

Lazarusreborn - 7/18/2012, 12:04 PM
*Spoiler*? I heard a rumor that there are 2 surprise returns in TDKR..I think we all know who one of them is, but who is the second?

AsianVersionOfET - 7/18/2012, 12:06 PM
Hurry up with that review, Ror!
ElDuce74 - 7/18/2012, 12:10 PM
@MONKEYBALLS: It comes down to opinion and matter of taste. Personally, I prefer the Marvel movies because they feel like super hero movies. I also think Captain America is on par with IM, but RDJ pushes Iron Man to great heights.

I will agree the Batman films are, in some ways, better made films.

With all that said, I'm a DC fanboy who prefer's Marvels movies...I just think it would be nice to have a comment thread free of DC Vs Marvel BS.

And I didn't include Superman Returns because I have completely tried to block that out of my memory bank. Much like the X-Men films.

I have a feeling in 2014, with Man of Steel...We may have another great DC film to include with Batman.
JustCallMeRazzy - 7/18/2012, 12:13 PM
@monkeyballs oh i see movies free all the time!! you shouldve seen how much jizz there was after the avengers for the first 3 weeks!!! all four theaters it was in sold out the first 2 weekends. it was insane. i saw it at midnight, and im glad i didnt have to clean up my own...

but i just saw another preview for tdkr that i hadnt seen before and now im soooooo extremely pumped for this movie!!!!!
ElDuce74 - 7/18/2012, 12:15 PM
Millanstar: Those spoilers aren't real silly. And if they are...F you for posting it.

I still have a feeling that Bane was in the original fire from Batman Begins. I will smile to myself if that is the case...Since, in theory, Batman created Bane.
BillyM67 - 7/18/2012, 12:20 PM
Love the first two, looking forward to the third, but I have to admit that I hope when they reboot the series in a few years they go for a lighter tone (like the Avengers)....it would be nice if kids could actually go see a Batman movie again!
AnonymousGuy - 7/18/2012, 12:49 PM
In Nolan's past two Batman films, I've seen Alfred do everything EXCEPT butler. With that screencap of him in the kitchen trying to manage everything, he's actually doing what he's technically being paid to do. LOL!
thisheart - 7/18/2012, 12:57 PM
I love Hathaway's Hepburn look.
nowtheresaBATman - 7/18/2012, 12:57 PM
@BillyM67 I don't want to see a lighter tone Batman film ever again but I will agree w/ you Avengers is a kids movie ha
nowtheresaBATman - 7/18/2012, 12:59 PM
The Cat in the Hat meow :)
UrbanKnight - 7/18/2012, 1:01 PM
@yoss Lol Fair enough. Hope you got yours ready.

Btw can't say I agree with Bill there. I usually SAY I'm gonna do it and don't act natural. Then I do it;) Same as in real life. We all have our ways I guess.
Good day to you.
MCUfan1 - 7/18/2012, 1:12 PM
Damn batman needs to rise in theaters now
NOLANITE - 7/18/2012, 1:38 PM
Tommorow...tommorow...it can't get here any sooner.
Midnight showing at IMAX citywalk in Hollywood!

This movie will not top TDK but will satisfy and be the movie of the year.
Knightrider - 7/18/2012, 1:46 PM
