Much Better Quality MAN OF STEEL Comic-Con Footage Surfaces

It's still a bootleg of course, but a pretty damn clear one. Aside from going out of focus a couple of times, you can make out the spectacular footage Zack Snyder debuted at SDCC..

Superman takes to the skies once more as acclaimed actor Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Immortals) dons the suit, cape and S-shield of the MAN OF STEEL. With an all-star cast that includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as John and Martha Kent, Clark’s earthbound parents; Oscar® winner Russell Crowe as Superman's Kryptonian father Jor-El; The Fighter's Amy Adams as intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane; The Matrix's Laurence Fishburne as editor Perry White; and Boardwalk Empire's Michael Shannon as Superman’s otherworldly archenemy General Zod, populations from Smallville to Metropolis are psyched for Superman. With the directorial stylings of 300's Zack Snyder and the superheroic production team behind Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, the sky's the limit for the last son of Krypton!


Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel hits theaters June 14th, 2013.

This is definitely not a teaser. This should be the first trailer released in the next couple of months. Don't waste more footage getting out by releasing a brand new one months later.

Just love when Superman is getting thrown into the bank vault. I always luv when heroes are getting their buts pawned by villains. Just makes heroes beating them in the end so much better.

Why isn't this being shown on TDKR? This looks pretty good.

And as a side note: c'mon guys, people have been doing this for years, surely we should know how to turn off the autofocus on our cameras by now, right?

Now why DC not just simply show this SDCC trailer as the official trailer before the Batman movie? How hard would that have been? Someone had to sneak a camera into the SDCC to show us a nice trailer. Stupid DC executives. Claim to know every thing, but don't know Superman fans.

The suit looks incredible. Cavill looks huge and like a cross between Alex Ross and Jim Lee Superman with a touch of Curt Swan. Oh, and Superman fighting a huge thing (Zod in a battle suit or something else??) mid-air? EPIC WIN!!! This movie will dominate 2013 and bring back Superman in a big way. It's about time!

I can't help thinking though they should've either released the teaser earlier or shown this footage some other time later, cause now we've all see bootleg footage it won't really be as great when it's officially released as a trailer.

Of course it goes blurry on the 2 parts I really wanted too see 1 supes reaching out from the skulls and 2 the close up of Zod oh well still glad to see this footage in better quality thanks Ror!!

yeah it blurred right when that guy in the audience said "woah!" and right when they showed i think general zod's face.

but yeah this is amazing quality! can someone get a download of this and spread some links around? im trying to use realplayer and stuff to grab it, but to no avail.

That got me excited...I am definitely now looking forward to this. I hope they make Superman like Superman should be, STRONG!! It also looks like he may have a chip on his shoulder and that may give him a little bit of a mean streak which is exactly what I would love to see.

The scene at 1:30, before the one with Jor El, Lara and baby Kal El, looks as if there has been some MASSIVE damage done to Metropolis. If you look closely in the top right corner you can see the tops of buildings. Looks as if something has fire upon the city. Ship, device, I have no idea.

Releasing a trailer with this footage now or in December really isn't going to change much. People aren't going to ignore the full trailer because of the teaser.
