Here we have the original 5 members of The X-Men in all their glory. Brian Michael Bendis has already revealed that this series would feature the original incarnations of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, Beast and Iceman as they use time-travel to arrive in the present comic timeline - but this is out first look at Immonen's artistic take on them..

No new details on the X-men, but Marvel had this to say about Rick Remender and John Cassaday's Uncanny Avengers..

From the ashes of Avengers Vs. X-Men an all-new, all-different Avengers assemble – enter the Uncanny Avengers! From the creative team of Rick Remender and John Cassaday, Captain America and Wolverine begin a quest to create a sanctioned Avengers unit cast from the ranks of the Avengers and the X-Men. This November in UNCANNY AVENGERS #2, The Red Skull makes a move that transforms him into the most powerful man on Earth! And with anti-mutant sentiment at an all-time high, it will be up to Captain America, Wolverine, Havok, Thor, Rogue, and The Scarlet Witch to take down the Skull and his S-Men!

REDSTORM - 8/13/2012, 10:05 AM
These are the past X-Men. They somehow time traveled to the future.

I think they look too angry, but that's just me.

BruceLeroy - 8/13/2012, 10:07 AM
I still can't believe All New X-Men is real.

Uncanny Avengers looks awesome. Very trippy.
skot888 - 8/13/2012, 10:08 AM
Guh I really hate this Marty McFly X-Men Idea. So far Marvel now is 50/50 for me 50% I'm looking forward to, and 50% stuff i will be avoiding like the plague.
Anthrax - 8/13/2012, 10:09 AM
oh but they all do look constipated
KaneVonDoom - 8/13/2012, 10:13 AM

GoILL - 8/13/2012, 10:13 AM
These covers look cool.
GUNSMITH - 8/13/2012, 10:17 AM
OK IF YOU BRING THE PAST X-MEN TO THE FUTURE, EVERYTHING MIGHT CHANGE, IF THEY RETURN TO THEIR TIME THEY'LL MAKE DIFFERENT DECISIONS AFTER SEEING WHAT THEY WITNESS..IT'LL BE FRIGG'N STAR TREK
Anthrax - 8/13/2012, 10:19 AM
maybe they are tryoing to reboot it star trek style
DanteSparda - 8/13/2012, 10:20 AM
Both look very good to me, so far the premise of the Red Skull arc in Uncanny Avengers have got me exited.

Also I'm looking for All New X-Men, I think it would be great because that's the kind of comic that Bendis should be writing, I think it would be even better than his run with Ultimate Spider-man, my only concern is if this old new team is going to fit well with the rest of the Marvel Universe, specially their old counterparts.

I'm diggin the cover arts. I'm going to take full advantage of Marvel Now — X-Men are growing on me. Is there a possibility of Apocalypse being in Issue #1?
Danbojohnj - 8/13/2012, 10:32 AM
Now that's the XMEN I remember.
GUNSMITH - 8/13/2012, 10:32 AM

Love Immonen's work. And that new X-Men logo is beautifully retro. Really like the Avengers cover too.
antman73 - 8/13/2012, 10:46 AM
the laughing red skull looks like an old japanese manga/anime called "Ogon Bat".

OtakuPapi - 8/13/2012, 10:46 AM
Their are Three Icemen in the current X Universe. The AOA i doubt is dead!
SCURVYDOG619 - 8/13/2012, 10:57 AM
The original X-team running into modern-day Magneto could be a liitle explosive,I think...

And is that the Hood siding with the Red Skull on that Avengers cover?
AlcoholicA - 8/13/2012, 10:59 AM
Very curious how they are going to use time travel to bring the original X-Men back without it being a "reboot" whether technically or basically.
marvel72 - 8/13/2012, 11:13 AM
loving the look of the x-men,can't wait to get my mits on that.

as for uncanny avengers fantastic writer,i hope it lives up to its potential.
ScionStorm - 8/13/2012, 11:18 AM
How many times have the X-Men traveled to different futures over the years. Time travel is nothing new to the X-world. The new thing is that we are seeing a time travel story from the other side of the looking glass for once. Instead of our X-Men traveling to some other future that we are introduced to like AOA, we are already familiar with the 616 modern times, and X-Men are traveling to our future/Now. They might not even be X-Men from the 616 in the end.

"i dont get hos jean alive beast not a beast im lost lol"

Perhaps you should read the text rather than just looking at the pictures? ;-)

Not in the Marvel universe. Besides, Bendis has stated they are not going back, but staying in the present.
TheLight - 8/13/2012, 12:04 PM
Wait a moment, wouldn't bringing the original five from the past into the present create a paradox? Then again, what am I saying? This is MARVEL.
blackagar94 - 8/13/2012, 12:12 PM
The Originals traveling to the future (present in fact) doesn't change anything to the universe we know, it just creates another time line, except if they already come from another time line, which would be more accurate, I think.
baszs - 8/13/2012, 12:12 PM
Seriously how can people keep up with all the different multiversuses of different x-men, avenger, spiderman, deadpool, batman, stories!

i mean i started reading comics on the iphone for a year now, reading deadpool stories and occasionally some other stories, but damn where do you begin sometimes when they keep throwing all these different stories, with the same characters! SHees

They should make a infographic for startes that is!
hope420 - 8/13/2012, 12:21 PM
Scared of the future? Let's just keep revisiting the past!
quadrapioneer - 8/13/2012, 12:27 PM
Finally... X-Men First Class.
SteveRogersSon - 8/13/2012, 12:47 PM
Not Bad...interesting.
LordHuck - 8/13/2012, 12:51 PM
I prefer the Comic 1st class costumes
SteveRogersSon - 8/13/2012, 12:55 PM
of course you would.
McGribble - 8/13/2012, 1:22 PM
The guy to the left of red skull looks just like Michael Myers from Halloween...
Asterisk - 8/13/2012, 1:26 PM
I dig it all.
Dunejedi1 - 8/13/2012, 2:03 PM
Technically speaking, all time travel involves parallel universes. For examples, see: Every movie/book/comic involving time travel. I don't think this is a bigger stretch of the imagination than anything else that frequently happens in comics. And while it's a much used theme, I can't think of a time when it was used like this. Having a team from the past travel to the future. I think it's an interesting take, with promising potential. Provided, of course, that it's well written.

And I just love everything Immonen does. I think Marvel should clone Immonen, Coipel and Opena. Lock them in a dungeon. Feed them twinkies and red bull, and just have them crank out 75% of their books.
Bark4Soul - 8/13/2012, 5:01 PM
@Anthrax - Read the damn caption dude...it says "As they TIME travel into the future"
Pooh - 8/13/2012, 7:06 PM
Hate the new X-Men cover. Art and writing have been replaced by marketing and politics.
vondoom29 - 8/14/2012, 12:06 AM
all new xmen looks dope as f***
Joker08 - 8/14/2012, 4:36 AM
Looks good... but why'd they have to go and model Jean Grey's face off of Rainn Wilson?

IMNAvenger - 8/14/2012, 9:58 AM
@ Redstorm - They're supposed to be angry because they aren't happy about the way their future selves are and are looking to change that (from what I remember reading)
