Limited Edition HE-MAN & THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE DVD Set On The Way

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic cartoon series, Mill Creek Entertainment plan to release a limited edition DVD set this December, which will consist of a whopping 189-episodes and 22-discs. Read on for a full list of features..

According to MTV Geek, the limited edition set will include all three television incarnations of He-Man, from the 83-85 series, to the 1990-1991 revival, to the second Cartoon Network revival from 2003-2004. There will also be an extra DVD featuring previously unreleased documentary footage, a CD with the series' soundtrack, a "sword accessory," and a 48-page episode guide booklet.

Pretty damn extensive set eh? Unfortunately the '80s shitfest Dolph Lundgren movie isn't included for giggles. Apparently the set will hit sometime in December, and cost a hefty $99.98.

Loved it, it definitely played a part in getting me into sci-fi/fantasy type stuff, and comics too. Although that original series has dated of course..I watched a few eps on yoputube a while ago. Great for nostalgia, but kinda hilariously awful too!

I already have the origial series on dvd..ill never buy that 90's shit..god awful

I prefere my He_Man cartoons to make me feel uncomfertable about the hero's intentions

Loved the 80's stuff. Got the Eternia playset for my 8th or 9th Bday. My dad had it all put together before I got up and when I saw it I flipped out like a madchild!!

$100 bucks though, I don't think I can manage that one:(

Hmmm. I like watching 5 minutes of my childhood cartoons for the nostalgia factor, but couldn't imagine sitting through a whole episode, let alone a series.
