Fans were left very disappointed by the announcement that Matthew Vaughn would no longer be directing the sequel to X-Men: First Class, as he is obviously seen as a big part of that movie's success. Bryan Singer has directed (arguably) the best movie in the franchise in X-Men 2 however, and many seem to feel he is a more than adequate replacement. But, if Singer also ends up passing, who could step in?
The list below is comprised of all past X-directors (I'm not actually expecting votes for Ratner!), some old Fox reliables, a few such as Josh Trank (although granted, he'll be busy!) and John Moore - who directed A Good Day To Die Hard and was in line for X-Men 3 back in the day - who might be real possibilities, and also some very unlikely candidates who would be seen more as fan-wishlist options. There's also the "other" option if you don't see anyone you like here. So, vote away..
