STARGATE'S Ben Browder Cast As 'Ted Gaynor' In ARROW

The Farscape/Stargate actor will play a character that has tangled with Batman as a villainous rogue member of the Blackhawk squadron in the comics, but what changes will we see Gaynor go through for his tv incarnation in the CW's Arrow? Read on to find out..

According to IGN, yet another DC character will be making an appearance in CW's Arrow in the 11th episode of the show. This time it will be Ted Gaynor. A top officer in the United States Marine Corps and former member of the Blackhawk Squadron in the comics, apparently in the show he will be introduced as..



"Diggle’s commanding officer from his first tour in Afghanistan, who now works as a bodyguard for Blackhawk Squad Protection Group in Starling City. As a series of armored truck robberies strike the city, Gaynor proves to be a polarizing figure between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey)".

Browder will be best known to sci-fi fans for his roles in the likes of Farscape and Stargate SG-1, and he’s also guest starred on Chuck and Doctor Who.

You forgot to mention that Ben Browder was the first person to play DC cowboy character Bat Lash. He voiced him in the Justice League: Unlimited episode "The Once and Future Thing", where fellow "Firefly" alumni Adam Baldwin played Jonah Hex.

Instead of using a bunch of unknown Batman villains, this show should either have the B-man himself, or at least a major villain of his.

i truly doubt that bats will make an appearance, that's the kind of thinking that will lead to disapointment, he never made one in smallville, and at the end they pretty much a had the entire justice league running the show

I would give up all the years of Smallville for just 1 or 2 more seasons of Farscape and Claudia Black. It's nice to see Ben on this show. Farscape should have never been cancelled and Ben is a very underrated actor.
