as long as it doesnt go the same way as Disney's Pirates franchise where each film got longer and more boring this should be great! i just hope it follows the game's story quite closely!!

Disney distributing this movie doesnt really turn me off. I liked the first 2 pirates a lot and The Prince Of Persia Sands of Time game wasnt bloody. It started getting bloody and M rated for part 2 and the Two Thrones ones.

Although I think Jake Gellynhal is kind of a douche, he does seem to fit the part and it looks like they got the overall feel of the game.

Hopefully this isn't another cheese-fest crap adaptation as most game movies turn out to be. They have a great story to work with and have the possibility of a successful franchise.

At least Uwe Boll isn't directing:P

Yes Dizzle, thank the lord in heaven Uwe Boll didnt get his grubby little hands on a good franchise like Prince of Persia. God, that would have been terrible! ;)

@Dizzle@ none of the great game developers will give Uwe Boll rights to their stuff, Jaffe laughed in Boll's face when he told him he wanted to write and direct God of War.... everyone knows he is a hack, it's why he hasn't made a movie since Postal.

It just looks like glossy pulp, I don't think this will be any good. Maybe the acting can redeem it but I'm doubtful.

@Keven@ I was making a joke since Postal was the last movie the hack tried to hype, he actually did six movies after Postal, and has five in the production phase right now, and one he is filming. how are those some facts for your ass.

Boll made a Far Cry movie? No wonder I never heard about that...

This has the potential to be good. At first I balked at the thought of Disney making it, then I realized it would probably be like Pirates of the Carribean, which was great, so it could go either way. As for Jack Gylannhal playing the Prince... meh. He doesnt look very Persian, but then again the prince didnt from the game either so whatever.

@Shadow@ yeah he did and he has also made another lame Bloodrayne which is due out sometime next year. I hope after he loses his rights to Bloodrayne someone with some sense picks them up and makes a movie that stays true to her origin and is actually worth watching.... the only good scene in the first bloodrayne was Loken's sex scene.

Osiris- Wow. I knew he did Bloodryne... even saw it because of Loken... but Far Cry? Jesus, this man must be one hell of a hack to make a movie off a videogame franchise that no one heard about. He's the anti-christ of moviedome. Hmm... you know, I heard Ewe Boll has stated publicly that he is willing to fight with anyone who walks up to him on the street and challenges him. Anyone here wanna get a plane ticket and finding this douchebag? ;)
