Why does everyone think these are lame? hey maybe they'll just quit making CBMs altogether and you can get them in paper format! lol Personally I think it's a movie that takes several years to get into production if it ain't Berry's Catwoman or stuff just made to make a quick buck then they are trying.

And that's why you don't make the costume CGI

The effects won't be close to finished for MONTHS. So all the trailers will feature unfinished untextured not fully lighted CGI. The effects house is good but they've only been working for a few months. It was a bad decesion on the productions part. Thankfully there's plenty of post time so the final movie should look better. But this shows marketing is going to be impossible.

On the bright side Oa looks amazing, and Kilowag looks badass. Looks like WB will throw in all the jokes in the trailers(and there were plenty in the script, I can tell what scene the pants line comes from)

I've seen a lot of people whining about it, but I don't really see how much more you could ask for. Some of the dialogue is a bit cheesy, but the suit looks JUST LIKE THE COMICS. I think it all looks pretty [frick]ing great.

meh...i'll probably go see it if they actually confirm that renyolds next project is deadpool but if he does R.I.P.D. i'm SOOOO boycotting this movie!

I love it, I have a fettish for cheesy movies, 90's CGI, horrible dialogue. I think even though the CGI sucks in the footage, remember cgi doesn't mix well with earth green screens, but it will look kick-ass in outerspace! I'm so super dooper excited!!!

I don't care if CGI is not finished yet or not but that costume looks so shitty. Lively looks gorgeous as usual.

guys... this is NOT an ad for GL... it's an ad for an episode of ET. ET viewers are dumb generic ameri-slobs, and so they used the scenes they thought would appeal to dumb generic ameri-slobs. the actual movie is going to be balanced between fun and drama, and have complete characters and an actual story.

if you marvel drones feel like this footage gives you more excuses to hate, well, enjoy your hating! but i'm a GL nut and a DC drone and i, for one, am not dismayed.

oh, and intruder? i thought the thor footage looked like crap. as i said a few days ago, asgard looked pretty sweet but the script was garbage, the action was hokey and the frosties looked like power rangers rejects. i'm sure thor will be great and i'm sure gl will too... but folks you just HAVE TO stop judging on pre-trailers...

last pic he reminds me of Bradley Cooper,anyway i have no idea when people will get satisfied with anything...i totally mean anything....seth rogen as green hornet,first announcement of chris evans when cast as cap and then when pics were captured and everybody saw him they were like "omg.. chris im sorry your perfect man u look like steve and i think i'll jizz myself til it's all the way to my brain yeepee",thor's costume,chris hemsworth cast as thor "oh so captain kirk's dad was cast as thor...wow this will fail", and now this(there's lots more)"oh the cgi sucks,EPIC FAIL"... i mean people, to be honest it looks like crap but it might turn out amazingly awesome from what it seems to look like here, seriously i know bitching bout castings,and what movies look like will live on forever.... im willing to give this a chance so ill go watch it at the theaters then i can criticize it from what it actually was and not from what it looks like.

I'm gonna bet EVERYONE pissing and moaning about this will still see it (myself included). We'll complain that it could have been better and bitch that Reynolds sucked. OH [frick]ING WELL. Nothing (I repeat) NOTHING will match our expectations (ever). EPIC or EPIC FAIL...(rolls eyes), whatever...wait and actually judge it when it's released - sheesh. This is why, regardless of who's cast as Superman (besides Routh), fanboys will bitch and complain yet line up for tickets and buy the DVDs. Fanboys are givens for these types of comic book movies. If Superman Returns, Wolverine and IM2 sold tickets, this will, too.

@brazilianbatman...I think the common mistake fanboys make is to compare it to anything other than itself. These CBM are interpretations of the source materials, which (let's not forget) is comic book story telling, after all.

look I'm trying approach this with an open mind but i gotta tell you I'm a little scared that this movie may turn to be over cgi'd....
What scares me is the fan trailer made on you tube looks better....

You are right on the money, its okay to get a feel from this. But to nail down if the movie will pass or fail, no way. We gotta see the actual teaser first. And yeah the movie is IN post production now, which means all the cgi. Which in the case of this movie, is pretty much 80%.

Battletoads, that was a classic, yo!

CeramycTyle@ Umm...I scrolled...I looked. I scrolled...I looked. Repeated and rinsed and could find only two GL articles. Neither of them contained the video footage. The article a few below this one has "trailer" in the title, but they are referring to a dressing trailer. Not sure what article you are referring me to. It's been a long day and I could just be missing it somehow.

I've always took Hal to be
a more serious character
along the lines of Superman
and Batman maybe Im wrong.

Im a little concerned, but
waiting before passing any
kind of judgement.

Im hoping and thinking all

Wow looks gay, if Thats what warner is doing for there dc comics movies then that's a failed attempt, only batman is a successful franchise to them this generation. Also I always wondered why they pick Martin cambell as the director cause it's a hit and miss with that director, they should have ilm do the cgi as well cause that looks garbage.

what ever i am not going to judge 30 sec footage gonna wait till i see a hd trailer on the big screen and full movie rather have us show this then all the good parts of the movie like iron man 2 not that i didn't like it
