HUGH JACKMAN - JOEL
Well to start, Its Hugh Jackman, the guy's an amazing actor! now my reasoning! After seeing "Prisioners" i got the Joel look inside my head, and not just look but act too, the way he gets aggressive in times totally reminded me of Joel! Now besides that i don't need another reason, he's done tons of different characters and could EASILY do it!
ELLEN PAGE - ELLIE
Umm? maybe cause before the game came out the creators said, "We actually got inspired by Ellen Page to create Ellie"? and she looks just like her? but considering she's getting old it might differ :P but her like many other actors can still pull of a kid! so who cares!
Another Choice for ELLIE, if you are really concerned that she looks too old is CHLOE GRACE MORETZ!
JOHN HAWKES - DAVID (rapist guy)
John Hawkes is a good actor i guess, i mean i don't really "know" him for any previous work, But considering he looks really close to David from the Last of Us, i mean! WHY NOT!?
That's pretty much it, i know a pretty small fan-cast, but i only put the people that i really care about seeing in the Film! (if made) everyone else, i don't care who they cast! But here are some picks for people i could see having a good take on the Film!
