The voice cast includes Armie Hammer as Strong Arm, the superhero with super strength; Christian Slater as Lazer Lord, the superhero who hurls balls of laser energy; Mayim Bialik as Lady Lightning who possesses super speed; Teri Hatcher as Silver Skylark, the superhero who flies; Flea as Roller Man, who rolls into a big ball and launches at high speed; Darren Criss as Micro, who shrinks in size; and Sean Austin as Kid Kinergy who’s superpower is telekinesis. Additional voices include Jim Belushi as Mr. Cross, the leader of a covert operations military division assigned to investigate UFO sightings; and Michael Ironside as Xanar, the leader of the warring aliens from the planet Taegon who enslave other planets and raid their natural resources.

The cast introduction included a sneak peak of the trailer for the upcoming movie trilogy which you can watch below. The presentation was made by Stan Lee as both the creator of SLAM 7 and CCO of POW! Entertainment, and Andy Heyward, CEO of A Squared Entertainment.

"SLAM 7 is the first reality style comic books series and the first superhero project from Stan Lee Comics. We're combining fantasy and reality, comedy and adventure for a superhero series unlike anything I've created before," said Lee in his introduction of the cast. "These incredible actors have brought these alien superheroes to life even better than I could have imagined…if that's even possible!"

The SLAM 7 trilogy begins with three feature-length films, a monthly comic book and an animated television series thereafter, to debut in 2015. The Hub Network has the world premiere of all three movies starting with the first movie, Beginnings, in early 2014. Cinedigm will release a DVD and Digital release in the U.S. in summer 2014.

Stan Lee makes his animation film debut, giving voice to an animated version of himself in a starring role. In the story, Stan Lee is hired by Archie Comics to create a new group of superheroes. He finds himself stumped with writer's block and heads to the desert to clear his mind. When seven aliens suddenly crash land near him and start demonstrating their various superpowers, he decides, "Perfect! They will be come my next superheroes!" But almost instantly, he realizes they are being chased by the military and aliens from their own planet, and he needs to act quickly. He makes the decision to have them move into his house in Malibu where he will teach them everything they need to know about being superheroes. Comedy and adventure ensue as the aliens try to adapt to life on earth, and their new roles as superheroes, all the while running for their lives.

Yeah, I'll pass. He has a show on H2. It's about real people who have like incredible talents. This one guy made a herd of buffaloes sit down and go to sleep just by waving his hand at them.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/7/2014, 5:24 PM

How can something look so great and so terrible at the same time? Though, personally, I'm just glad that Stan is still alive and kickin.
Sentient1 - 1/7/2014, 7:09 PM

it's not Marvel animation, or Marvel related, this is from Stan Lee comics.
Spidey91 - 1/7/2014, 7:41 PM
speaking of the animation, I can't tell if it's hand drawn animation or flash animation :/
TheDemonsHead - 1/7/2014, 7:44 PM

Some of the worst animation I've ever seen. Wow.
Ineedrevelation - 1/7/2014, 8:13 PM
You either die a hero... or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Here's looking at you Stan Lee.

MightyZeus - 1/7/2014, 9:47 PM

RodimusPryme - 1/7/2014, 10:26 PM
Hey at least he made up these characters instead of pulling a Lucas and Centipede raping characters we know.
gastitdk - 1/7/2014, 11:10 PM
Ugh, love you Stan, but this is horrible. Just enjoy retirement and make cameos in the MCU movies.
WruceBayne - 1/7/2014, 11:23 PM
Stan Lee is a joke to me now. He's like William Shatner.
Humperdink - 1/7/2014, 11:55 PM
Looks like Flash animation.
Spock - 1/8/2014, 2:08 AM
The animation isn't that bad, but the SOUND EFFECTS IS what kills it for me. But what do you expect this is the HUB-FOR KIDS period!
Ancar - 1/8/2014, 4:13 AM
What a fail! Stan Lee doesn't know how to write comic superheroes anymore:(
VolkanTaskillas - 1/8/2014, 5:20 AM
Stan Lee did not create something decent for at least 40 years. Why do now?
126thst - 1/8/2014, 6:22 AM
@joemomma Pass for what?
JediPhilosopher - 1/8/2014, 9:49 AM
This is one of those shows kids will watch saturday mornings, then in 10 years look back on and think "God, how did I like that crap?"
SpiderJerusalem - 1/8/2014, 3:16 PM
Just do cons and cameos stan enjoy the time you still have, you'll always have spider man .
blkchi - 1/8/2014, 4:04 PM
How can you guys knock a man that helped create a universe that we all love. This stuff is for kids as a guy going up to 40 I know its hard but our time as primary consumers is over its for kids, are you gonna buy the action figure or lunch box..kids will Stan knows that so may not be our cup of tea but hope its a success. Having bonked a writer for several years I know writing aint easy (she actually wrote kids books) and new ideas are at a premium, also comparing him and shatner is wrong since he CREATED a universe. Really hope marvel does get real with their animation hulk and iron man movie looks horrible, matter of fact Iron Man is starting to lose me IM3 sucked, hope to reboot downey jr as phase 2 moves forward.
riseofloganX36 - 1/8/2014, 6:42 PM
