Director Bryan Singer (Superman Returns) hopes to lure you to the box office this March with his own spin on a classic fairy tale. Hit the jump to check out the second TV spot for Jack The Giant Slayer.

JACK THE GIANT SLAYER tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend--and gets the chance to become a legend himself. LANDS IN THEATERS MARCH 1ST!

The giants look pretty terrible the cgi for them looks really dated.......unless they were going the cartoonish route.

"imadick -

are you seriously gonna whine about this film not being faithful to the source material?"

There isn't one specific source material when it comes to depicting giants - they all carry clubs. So what's the problem with giving them a traditional giant's club?

wow.. this looks as crap-tastic as hansel and gretel.

silverdog - H&G was pretty fun the cgi was great and the practical effects were really good. Maybe you should watch a film before you judge it.
