First Official Poster For Marvel's LUKE CAGE Netflix Series Features The Power Man Flexing
Before the upcoming Netflix series is showcased at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has just released an awesome first concept art poster in anticipation of Luke Cage. Check it out after the jump!
This weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con will be bringing plenty of announcements not just for the big-screen installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also the ever-growing small-screen side with the upcoming Luke Cage Netflix series. And now TV Insider has just provided the first official concept art poster which will be available at the Marvel booth.
Apparently, this awesome key artwork was designed by Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer Joe Quesada, who says, “There’s always great pressure with superhero posters.” Before offering praise for star Mike Colter, he added, “You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic. Mike gives Luke a smoldering strength. He’s sexy and calming. And the ladies love it.”
