Nicholas Brendon Replaces Maguire in 4th Spider-Man Movie!

You heard it here first! According to sources close to director Sam Raimi, Buffy's Xander has been chosen to take over for tired Tobey Maguire--who has refused to sign for a fourth Spidey flick!

Maguire has reportedly been dragging his feet about returning to the superhero role, and Raimi is quoted as saying, "I've Had it up to here with that spoiled bastard! I made him a star!" On advice from friend Joss Whedon, Raimi has cast Nicolas Brendon, the wise cracking member of the Scooby gang on BTVS--a Whedon joint.
