I thought it had its moments, but yeah a bit rubbish. Why a sequel is being made is anyone's guess, I didn't think the first one even made that much cash?

RED 2 before FLASH, WONDER WOMAN, AQUAMAN, and a JLA movie?

Great move WB/DC, great move (sarcasm aborted)

Seriously?! Has this even started filming yet?

And STILL no poster or trailer or ANYthing remotely resembling promotional materials for DREDD?
Curmudgeon - 5/23/2012, 10:20 AM
Bitching about them making THIS before Wonder Woman is like bitching about Marvel making that crappy Wolverine movie before they made Thor.

Because RED is a DC movie that's licensed to another company altogether, and WB have jack shit to do with it.
Curmudgeon - 5/23/2012, 11:06 AM
Which still is not the same thing as DC/WB choosing to make this over something else. It's Summit--and not WB--that is funding, producing, and releasing this film.

That's not taking away resources from any other potential DC projects.

I thought the first one was OK. The actions scenes felt very rushed IMO.

It kind of took me out of the movie. I hope the sequel ends up being what the first movie should have been.
