Very Interesting, and different than what I would expect from Zimmer.
marvelstudios - 12/13/2013, 6:11 PM
As much as I enjoy Hans Zimmer's scores. This is pretty crappy.
superherofan21 - 12/13/2013, 6:13 PM
I love this theme. Bet it'll sound amazing in theaters.
Poolio - 12/13/2013, 6:14 PM
Pretty meh...and sounds more Superman than Spider-Man.
ManofSteel23 - 12/13/2013, 6:15 PM
dont like the trumpets, didnt like them in the first either, sounds like some sci fi star trek theme
VIRILEMAN - 12/13/2013, 6:18 PM
Did you guys listen to the CSI and Voyager themes? I wonder if that's something he can actually get in trouble for. They sound so crazy similar, especially the Voyager theme.
VIRILEMAN - 12/13/2013, 6:19 PM
@ManofSteel

The Trek themes are some of the best out there. So I don't see the problem.
MexicanChinman - 12/13/2013, 6:33 PM
It's ok.
ManofSteel23 - 12/13/2013, 6:34 PM
the problem is,this isnt star trek
PsychoManiacJacky - 12/13/2013, 6:35 PM
Someone sound the fanboy alert!
ruadh - 12/13/2013, 6:48 PM
I don't think it's close enough to Voyager to have any legal issues.
Grayson7954 - 12/13/2013, 6:53 PM
this wasnt that good... which is unfortunate.
JDUKE25 - 12/13/2013, 6:57 PM
It's alright, kind of reminds of the Mighty Ducks theme, which is freakin epic.
ruadh - 12/13/2013, 6:57 PM
Well...picture Spider-Man swinging around to that music, probably makes it more exciting.
DrDoom - 12/13/2013, 6:57 PM
Sounds like shit and honestly Virileman, format your article
ArthurNumeriano - 12/13/2013, 6:58 PM
It's not the main theme...
VIRILEMAN - 12/13/2013, 7:00 PM
@Doom

Done and done.
StarYeezus - 12/13/2013, 7:01 PM
Sounds very old school and cheesy, kind of like the Avengers theme.
TheYoungMan - 12/13/2013, 7:02 PM
Surprised this isn't another Jamie Foxx rant disguised as a news article from VIRILEMAN.
VIRILEMAN - 12/13/2013, 7:03 PM
Dude is racists.

typicalfanboy - 12/13/2013, 7:11 PM
is that dub step at the end? if so,amazing
DelTorite - 12/13/2013, 7:12 PM
Lame. He'll have to work harder to beat Elfman's theme.
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 7:24 PM
This is just speculation, not confirmation of anything. If any of you think the brilliant composer Hans Zimmer composed this is mistaken. Sony I'm sure will
not let his actual theme get heard until release is closer, plus most of you to have forgotten that multiple artists are contributing to the score, so even if this was apart of the overall final film score several people besides Zimmer could've done this.
THIS IS NOT NEWS, THIS IS NOT CREDIBLE
Greengo - 12/13/2013, 7:24 PM
Very 80's ish.
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 7:43 PM
Hans himself has confirmed that it's from the film. It was taken from the official site.

While it might not be the final version, or not even the main theme at all (the music from the Man of Steel app was "Flight" not "What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World?"), it will be used in the film at some level.
SpiderParker - 12/13/2013, 7:50 PM
Its not the main theme, I doubt if its even gonna be used in the movie. Its just a score from the website.

Remember that?
Jazukai - 12/13/2013, 7:53 PM
I dont hate it, as it rings of a superhero standing proud and triumphant over the city, but Spider-Man isn't at that point yet. This is about him getting cocky and being knocked down, so it should be more energetic.

Horner's score was brilliant, because it captured the whimsical feel of how he felt being Spider-Man. Even the comic-con trailer used an updated version of it.

Marvel has never ever had any continuity in composers, and just when I thought this would change it, they go and hire Hans Zimmer.
Ramiel - 12/13/2013, 7:53 PM
Not better than Elfman's theme.
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 7:56 PM
Did you miss the part where I said HANS HIMSELF CONFIRMED IT'S FROM THE MOVIE?
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:02 PM
@Elayis Zimmer confirming it has to do with the movie neither confirms it's the main theme, nor who composed it. This is misleading and Zimmer shouldn't be posted as making this, because their is no proof this is his actual work, which makes this article wrong because it's merely speculation and even worse claiming something that at the moment can not be proven.
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 8:06 PM
So, wait, Zimmer stating that he composed it that it is actually from the movie... is speculation?

What am I missing?
SuperiorMrGod - 12/13/2013, 8:07 PM
That sucked dik
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:21 PM
Did everyone else miss the fact that theirs NO CONFIRMATION THIS IS ZIMMERS WORK when it has already been confirmed that besides Zimmer all of these following artists are working together to create the entire score collectively
Johnny Marr, guitarist for The Smiths
Pharrell
Mike Einzinger guitarist for Incubus and
Dave Stewart
So I'll reiterate again, this is misleading and not news, since their has been NO CONFIRMATION THAT THIS IS THE THEME TO TASM2
Wildaniel - 12/13/2013, 8:29 PM
Yeah, no confirmation at all, im thinking its fake!
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:35 PM
This is just a demo confirmed to
a source by Hanz himself
"I didn't do the trailer. I did the fanfare. It's Arturo Santoval, Johnny Marr, Andy Page and myself. ...it's just the demo mock-up. I didn't do the Trailer. Haven't even seen it."
-Hanz Zimmer
SimonM7 - 12/13/2013, 8:37 PM
I thought Horner's score was one of the better things about the first Amazing. I guess it wasn't a generic enough go-to choice for Sony, who've now opted to have Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman write the thing, along with *every other movie in hollywood*. It makes sense that they want *the guy who does the score for every other super hero movie* on it, too.
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:38 PM
*Hans Zimmer (dam auto correct)
