Interesting, but webshooters don't make or break Spidey
Jolt17 - 9/27/2012, 1:15 AM
Isn't it an old stuff? I believe I've ever seen it here, before.
Kalel219 - 9/27/2012, 2:23 AM
In that case, [frick] the "enlightened fans"
Bobby2889 - 9/27/2012, 2:25 AM
WolverinesZombie: if the web shooters make or break Spider-Man you cannot be an enlightened fan lol

meh...
tripttwe - 9/27/2012, 4:10 AM
@ zenix (whatever). You're damn right it makes front page! That was one of my biggest pet peeves in the first movie trilogy! Now they got the web shooters with the wrong damn costume! Sheesh!!!
tripttwe - 9/27/2012, 4:15 AM
Nice to know that Rami thought he knew better than STAN ([frick]ing) LEE!!!
kevberg - 9/27/2012, 4:22 AM
Regardless how you feel about webshooters, Raimi had a reasonable argument for not having them.

One of Peters strengths as a character is that he's relatable. He's sorta the everyman. Raimi surmised , even though he's a incredibly smart kid, how can a teenager create a chemical like his webs that even companies like 3m couldn't do?

You may not like his choice, but it was at least a logical decision. ( i personally side with the webshooters because it creates limitations for him)

teabag - 9/27/2012, 4:58 AM
TASM took more liberties with the original material then Raimi did tho :P
teabag - 9/27/2012, 5:01 AM
Not that it matters..we can all accept changes as long as they are presented in the best way possible

There were alot of changes made in TASM but i didnt mind them...i think if the movie was more exciting and had a lil more heart it might of gained the magic that Spider-Man had in 2002 :P
Kalel219 - 9/27/2012, 5:03 AM
"TASM took more liberties with the original material then Raimi did tho :P"

THANK YOU TEA!

Finally someone [frick]ing says the truth. Jesus, give the fans webshooters and they'll forgive every other [frick]ing flaw
superotherside - 9/27/2012, 5:14 AM
Cool. I've actually seen this before though. I personally both think the original SM films and Webb's recent reboot, both took several liberties which equals to about the same amount in each. I like both for different reasons. Personally I still wouldn't be against Marvel Studios getting it and rebooting the whole thing again. Much like the Incredible Hulk.
Jollem - 9/27/2012, 5:34 AM
so far they have done a lot of good with spidey in the movies, even tho they're not marvel studios films :)
MiracleMe - 9/27/2012, 5:35 AM
"Supposed" is right. The organic web concept was there at script stage so how could there have been a trailer with footage of mechanical web shooters?

I call bullshit.
Jollem - 9/27/2012, 5:52 AM
liberties are taken quite a bit with every cbm. doesn't mean they are flawed. if that's the case, then every cbm is flawed and not good. i disagree with that
Fenlion - 9/27/2012, 5:57 AM
Dear editors,
Did hukt on fonix not Wurk 4 u??
You should be embarrassed allowing someone
with that level of grammar putting cover stories on your
site. Fanboy doesn't have to mean idiot. Sheesh!
teabag - 9/27/2012, 5:58 AM
Liberties are often a good thing...and i agree both took them

But where Raimi decided to go big and bold Webb went small and quirky

I think Spider-Man is better big and bold..after all he is supposed to be AMAZING

:)

teabag - 9/27/2012, 6:03 AM
Kalel/M3@ lol dont get me wrong i think both changed alot..it just makes me laugh when people think TASM was more faithful :)
Mysterion - 9/27/2012, 6:03 AM
Photobucket
Jollem - 9/27/2012, 6:05 AM
well, tasm was amazing to me, mr. bag :)

i wouldn't call tasm small at all. and raimi had a lot of quirky

if marc webb decided to go with the same flair raimi had, that would just be one more bullet in the hate chamber
ATrueHero1987 - 9/27/2012, 6:07 AM
@superotherside I agree
AmericanPsychoWolf - 9/27/2012, 6:08 AM
People whining about the webshooters, at least he can shoot web then no web at all. And if people have a problem with that small little detail then [frick] them, we'll be enjoying the movie.
Emanuel14 - 9/27/2012, 6:09 AM
I don't give I f... about the grammar I didn't know how to write and speak english until 2008, and guess what? I'M STILL LEARNING THIS [frick]ING LANGUAGE
marvel72 - 9/27/2012, 6:10 AM
the amazing spider-man was good but it wasn't better than spider-man & spider-man 2 & its probably only slightly better than spider-man 3.
Jollem - 9/27/2012, 6:15 AM
@Emanuel14 - hey, you got one up on most 'muricans. most of us don't even realize there are more languages than ours :)
Ha1frican - 9/27/2012, 6:20 AM
@Tea i think it was more faithful in some regards had th spirit of Spidey to me, except that Ben's death wasn't as important a catalyst for his becoming SM and the omission of the "With Great power" line. But Spidey 2001 had the more classic look of Spidey and i think the only heart to the film was the amazing soundtrack. If you take that score and apply it to TASM and vice versa i think alot of moments would have hit hrder in TASM and fallen flat in SM. Whoever did the score for TASM should be punched in the peen.
marvel72 - 9/27/2012, 6:20 AM
@ Jollem

& its not even your language to start with. :D
Ha1frican - 9/27/2012, 6:21 AM
The bible is written in American if its good enough for Jesus is good enough for me MRRRRKKKKAAA
Ha1frican - 9/27/2012, 6:23 AM
Marvel72 considering the 13 colonies were established by the British... yeah it kinda has been to start with lol
Masterpace - 9/27/2012, 6:26 AM
Very interesting Video Game cutscenes. Still Spider-man and Spider man 2 are good movies. I still like TASM better.
teabag - 9/27/2012, 6:32 AM
Marvel@ lol Hey atleast were not speaking French :P

Joll@ Good for you bud...im probably in the minority anyway...but the flair you mention comes down to how you display and present the action peices or the drama leading up to them.....i dont think quirky comes into that part :)

Ha1@ The music was a big part of the empty feeling i had for TASM for sure

I didnt feel it had the spirit of spidey either cus as good as Garfield was he didnt feel like Spidey to me...Hell Toby didnt fully either but i understood the era they were going for

I dint see the playful sarcasm either..something both missed completly but i feel more let down with TASM since Webb promised that side of the character

The action scenes were rather lacking too as was the webslinging...i didnt feel swept away with the moment or feel like i was on a cinematic thrillride...i was just watching a movie

The heart and soul was missing for me too since the connection between everybody was so loose..sure pete and Gwen felt right but the relationship didnt really unfold on screen much

The villain left out key elements to his character and he didnt really hold strong as a memorable villain (which is a shame cus i frikin love the Lizard)

The ending was flat too...it didnt have that punch that a climax should have...it just kinda happened real quick then was gone

The term Amazing was nowhere to be found

but like i say

its probably just me :)
Jollem - 9/27/2012, 6:33 AM
@Splenda - it makes me depressed when i'm playing on xbox live and there are kids in europe or wherever who know 3, 4, 5, however many languages and we just know the one. more than one language in your head? good god, man. who can live at that speed? :)

@marvel72 - hey, were america. we take stuff. you got anything to say about it and we'll nuke ya. then we'll send the animated corpse of john wayne over there and take your country too, ya limey! :) (for the record, i'm probably not the biggest supporter of the bastard things america does. i'm pretty sure most, if not all, governments do dirty things but i can talk smack 'bout 'murica cause i pay taxes)
teabag - 9/27/2012, 6:45 AM
Jollem@ You'l probably need our help to find the button to Nuke us ;P

Jollem - 9/27/2012, 6:55 AM

Jollem - 9/27/2012, 6:58 AM
@Tea - and yes, it's most likely you :)
Cosmic1 - 9/27/2012, 7:00 AM
Remember the trailer online that started with a bank Robert and spider man spinning a web between the world trade cente buildings and catching the helicopter? After 9-11 it changed.
teabag - 9/27/2012, 7:04 AM
Jollem@ lol i agree its me making the UK sexy :D
teabag - 9/27/2012, 7:09 AM
