Following the recent international trailer, two more TV spots for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse have been shared online, and they both feature quite a bit of new footage from Sony Pictures' upcoming animated sequel.

In addition to some action-packed new shots of Miles Morales facing-off against Miguel O'Hara and The Spot, the promos give us first glimpses of several other Spidey Variants, such as Spider-Byte, the Spectacular Spider-Man, Spider-Kitty(?), and... Spider-Rex!

Yeah, we have a feeling this one is gonna get weird!

Check out the new TV spots in the players below.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to swing into theaters on June 2, 2023

Variants/Kang/Multiverse is quickly becoming a worn out MCU compound dirty word.

@DocSpock - Sony's animated Spider-Man movies is the only CBM franchise where it isn't getting tiring yet imo. Helps that the animation just makes it looks so different too.

In live-action though, it is definitely getting too much of an overused gimmick imo.

@bkmeijer1 -

I hear ya man. They are strangling the golden goose.

I don't like or watch the animated stuff, so I don't know about that.

@DocSpock - Spider-Verse would be a suggestion I'd recommend.

But yeah, strangling the golden goose is an apt description to use here

Heroes fighting themselves or other heroes is becoming a worn out gimmick too..

@Matchesz - it started with the whole mind control hawkeye in Avengers and then mind control everyone in Avengers 2. I blame Wanda and the Scepter.

Holy [frick]! I'm shocked and hype about seeing the Spectacular Spider-Man one more time! Even if it's just a cameo.
