I love the costume design but always hated the color tone. Nice banner.
BruceWayneNewton - 1/7/2013, 5:31 AM
Best movie of next year! Those colors do look great in these pics. I hope after editing, they will be closer to this.
Super12 - 1/7/2013, 5:34 AM
Text please? Can't see the video on iPhone.
Leddy - 1/7/2013, 5:35 AM
Not the movie the world deserves, but the one it needs right now.
DrHorrible - 1/7/2013, 5:35 AM
Too bad the colors probably won't look like that in the movie. We'll see though...
DrHorrible - 1/7/2013, 5:37 AM
@Leddy You can't exactly say that until the movie's come out. Even then, it's all a matter of opinion.

Just saying. :)
Leddy - 1/7/2013, 5:42 AM
@DrHorrible, just a joke, lol. Put the vid at 1:00 :P

Anws, I'm really looking forward to watch this movie.
Most anticipated one for 2013, imo.
DrHorrible - 1/7/2013, 5:44 AM
@Leddy I know. lol. I was just kidding. Even though there is some truth in my comment.
DrHorrible - 1/7/2013, 5:44 AM
By the way, how did ManOfSuperguy get this on main with no thumbs up and with him being a non-editor?

Just wondering. Thanks. :)
DukeAcureds - 1/7/2013, 5:55 AM
Awesome. I'm actually watching Blade, right now. That movie really was the first cbm to come out after Batman & Robin and Spawn and before X-Men. Blade was like the secret game-changer. Only the fans knew that it was a cbm, which was kinda cool, at the time (a time when geeks were still persecuted and put into camps).
Oh and Dark City is a masterpiece.
Can't wait for Man of Steel.
DaddyTuesday - 1/7/2013, 5:55 AM
Those colours look outstanding! Shame they won't do a post production computer tweek on the colour of the suit. I'd love for this Superman movie to work but I don't hold much hope out for it. I just hope he's not as mopey as Superman Returns or the trailer for Man of Steel shows him. Isn't Superman meant to be a symbol of hope not the poster boy for slitting your wrists?
DrHorrible - 1/7/2013, 6:12 AM
@ManOfSuperguy I know that, man. lol. Why would I do that? ;)
MrReese - 1/7/2013, 6:12 AM
Hiddlestons a pimp! wish it was July already.
nordberg - 1/7/2013, 6:47 AM

I confirm your statement about Dark City being a masterpiece. Btw, I just recently watched The Adjustment Bureau with the wife; a complete and utterly shameless ripoff of Dark City (and not a particularly good one at that).
PapaEmeritus - 1/7/2013, 6:48 AM
Very interesting... and intriguing! Damn, i can not wait!
nordberg - 1/7/2013, 6:54 AM

I agree that Goyer is very hit or miss but according to Patton Oswalt, a large part of the blame for the abortion that is Blade: Trinity can be attributed to the studio's meddling and Snipes being a bit of a diva.

Greengo - 1/7/2013, 6:54 AM

Wtf did they edit their aint shit here but a video lol.

Next time include a transcript you lazy bastard.

Fo real tho
AztecRainGod - 1/7/2013, 6:55 AM
Its more difficult, blah blah blah.

How come we havent heard about any other character being so "difficult" to bring to the big screen? How hard can this really be?

Quit your bitching and just finish the movie already.
TheRock234 - 1/7/2013, 7:08 AM
@aztecRaingod why don't you come up with a story for superman a guy who can pretty much do anything and is the most loving person in the universe with no flaws at all. He has no weakness except for kryptonite and there are only so many villains that he can fight. I you try to darken him at all than its just no Superman. That is probably why he is the toughest superhero to bring to the screen. I mean look at Superman Returns. They darken superman and made possibly a more dummer film than the richard pryor movie.
Mendenhall12 - 1/7/2013, 7:12 AM
The world does need a hero. And we get him June 14th.
California - 1/7/2013, 7:12 AM
It really sucks that you can't see video on either iPhone or iPad. Does anyone know why this is? It didn't used to be like that.
ReynMan - 1/7/2013, 7:21 AM
i don't know why most people here want the colors to be brighter and more "red". i think the color is just fine. by the looks of it, the suit is gonna be some kind of a kryptonian battle suit or something, and as we all know, no man, kryptonian or otherwise would want to go into battle looking like a candy floss.
Super12 - 1/7/2013, 7:22 AM
^Idk but I agree it's really annoying. I'm gonna keep complaining till I see a transcript somewhere :)
EarOne - 1/7/2013, 7:44 AM
if wb is goin ahead with the justice league flick, involving Man of Steel, then i hope Goyer would be the designated Mark Millar guy for WB/DCE, instead of Geoff Johns.
PeterParker1991 - 1/7/2013, 7:44 AM
It's only "difficult" because movie mmakers are still stuck on Chris Reeves from the 1970's. (B. Singer)
PeterParker1991 - 1/7/2013, 7:45 AM
JL won't happen. WB can't even make a decent Green Lantern film. How can they make a team based movie?
nordberg - 1/7/2013, 7:53 AM

I wasn't aware that Adjustment Bureau was based on a PHD novel. That said, if the movie was faithful to the original novel (i.e. angels with magic hats) then Dark City is an improvement on the source material, imo.
MrYurMomm - 1/7/2013, 8:44 AM
Dude, Apple products are for people who like simple ecosystems with simple software. Apple calls it a walled garden for their customers. That's no different than a prison with flowers.

@California, I'd suggest that you wise up, and purchase a Nexus 7. Only 250 for a 32GB version, and you can do EVERYTHING an iPad can do, AND MORE. If you want a 10 inch tablet, there's the Nexus 10, with a 32 GB price tag of $399 USD. AND IT COMES WITH A HIGHER RESOLUTION THAN THE RETINA DISPLAY ON THE IPAD!! (iPad 2048x1536, vs Nexus 10's 2560x1600). I run flash on my Nexus 7, and I'm replying to you on it as well. Ever since I got this thing, I can't put it down. You can have true multitasking, instead of the OS pausing an app in the background until you return to it, you can attach a 1TB hard drive to it via OTG USB,(only ¢79 on Amazon). This thing is pretty much replacing my mini laptop. I can't really say the same for an iPad/iPhone. I was going to get an iPad mini, but why am I going to pay more for iPad 2 specs in a smaller shell, when for the same price next upgrade season comes round, I can get the iPad mini with retina display and higher specs. THAT is bullshit, for a company to deliberately release an inferior product only to release an "updated" version later, when the tech is AVAILABLE AT THIS VERY MOMENT. APPLE CAN SUCK IT. They may have changed the world with the iPhone and iPad, but damn it, Samsung and Google are truly innovating beyond Apples tech, with their respective Galaxy line and Nexus line.

Wake up. I'm sure you remember that famous Apple commercial, 1984. Look at it now. Remember when they wanted you to "think different" because the companies had you buying the same thing over and over again? Kind of ironic, huh?
Ha1frican - 1/7/2013, 8:46 AM
Im still [frick]ing confused. Is the shield yellow and red or black and red? Im fine with either (i like the black just for the change) but the keep showing the yllow in trailers but black on the poster
California - 1/7/2013, 8:47 AM
I just know before the latest OS upgrade, I could get video from ComicBookMovie on my iPhone and then the next day, it was gone. I can still watch embedded videos on Infowars on my iPhone though so it's just this site.
Ha1frican - 1/7/2013, 8:49 AM
Goyer also wrote for Black ops 2 and (while not as gripping a story as something like Arkham city, Bioshock, or Elder Scrolls) the villain Raul Menendes was one awesome villain and the multiple options for how the story plays out are really cool
Ha1frican - 1/7/2013, 8:52 AM
When did this turn into express your butthurt over Apple's products? If you dislike them thats cool but why the rage dude lol. Full disclosure i am a disgruntled Android user but that was A BIT overboard
rbfn04 - 1/7/2013, 9:02 AM
Ah, what could've been. And how a little color tweek makes a world of difference.
rbfn04 - 1/7/2013, 9:07 AM
And, the reporter was right. All we've seen is a tortured Supes so far. Hope he is not like that all the time.

And how about they show us some Clark Kent already?
pepe - 1/7/2013, 9:21 AM
So lame...
MrYurMomm - 1/7/2013, 10:04 AM
Its probably because there's no HTML5 support... Maybe? That could be it, otherwise if it did, you should be able to view the video content. If not, try using the Skyfire Browser app, that supports flash video I believe.
Nomis1800 - 1/7/2013, 10:20 AM
MOS is gonna rule.
DukeAcureds - 1/7/2013, 10:49 AM
rbfn04@ I think the reason that they're not showing us Clark Kent is because it would be a bit of a spoiler. I think they just might be doing away with the glasses disguise. That is one of the things that is consistently brought up as something that doesn't hold up about Superman, in the modern age. So I think they'll be fixing that somehow. I've no idea how, but if it works then I'm okay with it. I can't speak for the die-hard purists, though. I've got a feeling that they'll be even more pissed off than when they took away his underpants.
