Since the release of the second full trailer for The Flash during CinemaCon last week, we've been seeing shorter promos containing alternate footage show up online, and this extended TV spot features even more new shots from the Scarlet Speedster's first solo outing.

Quite a bit of the footage has carried over from the previous teasers, but we also see a little more of Barry Allen's conversation with Ben Affleck's Batman (he mentions that he can save Bruce's parents, too), an extended shot of Supergirl taking the fight to General Zod, and the heroes uniting to do battle with... is that Dark Flash?

Check out the spot below along with a new banner, and let us know what you think.

"Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.

The Flash will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set to open in theaters in North America on June 16, 2023 and internationally beginning 14 June 2023.

The comment from production designer Paul Austerberry yesterday still has me pissed and now I feel like I shouldn’t support this movie and when I was actually looking forward to it…

@EZBeast - Yea I'm guessing that person has zero media training.It really irked me the wrong way.

@EZBeast - I get what he was attempting to express on behalf of what is surely a very fun entertaining movie, and maybe an excellent performance from you-know-who, but given the circumstances what he said is just a big ole "how dare you?"

@pitbull76 - You're probably right, but I think he actually said what most WB execs and Miller are thinking, but smart enough to not say aloud.

They likely think if this movie is "good", meaning just at the boxoffice, people will be dumb and naive enough to forgive and forget all of Miller's crimes and accusations. It's very narcissistic, self serving, insulting and shallow, which IS what Hollywood is all about.

@AmySabadini

This does look like the movie of the year. Unfortunately, that year is 2016 when the lousy BvS came out. Now it is just the last sad chapter of the failed DCFU Snyderverse.

Last rites time.

@TheNewYorker - Yea it should not look that great.When you think about depending who you talk to its ironic Man of Steel was really the only good movie Zack knocked out and now that we are near the end of the DCEU the best film might end up being one of the last one's before the reboot.

Anyone who says this looks good, you need your eyes checked. I support Batman, and Batman only.

I'm actually just kind of bummed Affleck won't have a bigger role. Keaton's Batman is obvious the movie's highlight (in a Flash movie, haha), but I'm really excited to seee Affleck's Batman one last time.

Damn, that Batcycle scene in the beginning looks BONKERS. Hype levels are through the roof at this point.
