After having his face shredded by Frank Castle towards the end of The Punisher season 1, it looks like Billy Russo will be back for revenge when season 2 premieres on Netflix this December.

A video from the set has been posted online, and it shows Jon Bernthal's ultra-violent vigilante engaging in a gunfight with a masked individual that has been confirmed to be Ben Barnes. The Westworld actor doesn't appear to be sporting any facial prosthetics for this scene, but don't expect him to look anything like his old handsome self when we finally do get a look at his scarred-up "Jigsaw" visage.

Maybe it's the video quality, but Billy's face looks significantly less [frick]ed up than it probably should given what Frank did to him at the end of season 1.

Other than that, I can't wait.

Season 1 was pretty great overall. Less filler eps than usual and the subplots were actually interesting.

Barnes did a helluva Brooklyn accent too.

They are gonna add some CGI later on. Cannot wait for this! The last 3 episodes are some of the best TV I have ever seen.

God this show was awesome,and really was something I needed while I was laying in bed dying from pneumonia. I hope that Season 2 delivers unlike Jessica Jones.
