The best thing about this CBM bomb of a movie was Kate Beckinsale's shower scene in the first few minutes of the film. It all went downhill from there.

Gratuitous? I don't know what you're talking about Ror...this scene advances the plot so much, it's utterly essential to the whole point of the whole movie.

I love me some Beckinsale in ways that are illegal in 32 states, but that was it? That was the scene that fired everybody up? Wow, the had to have been one crap movie.

By the way guys if you want to see just what a casting master our late friend HAWK was he posted this mega post on this article: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/SupermansuperWorld/news/?a=14144

Hawk basiclly put down a link to all his castings there and posted over 300 images from X-Men to JLA. It's great stuff.

Hawk, Ecks, Burglar, Tea, verbicide, and a few others were trying to bother the hell out of this kid (SuperkaL) who posted the most idiotic casting and then when we commented anything disagreeing he went Batsh!t and started deleting everyone, so we all took it upon ourselve to bombard him with comments and he just kept getting madder and madder. That was the last time I got to "hang out" in any fashion with HAWK on the site, sad that little troll deleted a mass chunk of it.

In the end all Kal's posts just vanished. None of us knew if he just up and deleted them himself (which as irratic as that guy was wouldn't surprise me), or if Galactus ate his world.

I anyone is ever in doubt as to why I'm so against her being cast in any CBM, EVER, AS ANYONE..check out her "performance" in this. Her ass is a better actor than she is.

@Ror: Youre right that she is not an A-class actor, she was good in Underworld, but can't come up with another performance that i really liked. But in the end, her ass has never let me down(pun intended).
IMO she might be one of the worlds hottest women, and I really mean that.

I dunno. She seemed okay to me in movies such as Click, Pearl Harbor, Serendipity, Ava Gardner in The Aviator, and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing.

She's not a INCREDIBLE actress per se, but she's not necesarrity bad IMO.

Either way...she is HOT AS HELL!!! Bring on the risque pics of her!!!!

I have never seen this movie but it is abundently clear that this scene is nothing short of the emotional backbone of the entire film, the lynch-pin holding the story line together.
