@Cbmfilmjunkie - movie was ok for a one off watch but never should have been made.
Cbmfilmjunkie
Cbmfilmjunkie - 2/2/2021, 8:44 PM
@aresww3 - I agree only because it seems nothing is going to come of awesome characters like Black Canary and Huntress.
A big waste if they leave them on the back burner.

@aresww3 - @Cbmfilmjunkie - this should have been a movie after Flash, GL and an established universe. they doomed themselves to failure.

Ha1frican

@DannRamm113 - Tbh I felt both these guys were pretty wasted in the movie. Zsasz wasn’t really Zsasz and Black Mask was Black Mask for about 5 minutes. I think you could rename BM Alberto Falcone and change nothing else and it would have worked better with that ending
DaHyro
DaHyro - 2/2/2021, 3:20 PM
@Ha1frican - Honestly, i’m okay with it? If he was an entertaining villain, I don’t mind. Marvel does that all the time and people don’t usually mind
Ha1frican
Ha1frican - 2/2/2021, 3:40 PM
@DaHyro - See that’s exactly why I care bc he was an entertaining villain and so it was kind of a waste of not only a good character but a character that could meant more in this universe and continued on. Also that’s literally one of the biggest complaints about the MCU so yes people do mind lol

Is Patty Jenkins the only director at DC right now willing to stand by their movie even if it turns out bad
MrDandy
MrDandy - 2/2/2021, 3:18 PM
@dracula - Snyder stands by his first two films no matter that they’re crap. I suspect he will stand by his upcoming crappy JL film too.

@MrDandy - BvS had a director's cut
rebellion
rebellion - 2/3/2021, 12:48 AM
@dracula - she kept telling to everyone willing to listen how she fought for control over ww84 and basically had her way with it. It would make her looklame to try and put the blame on wb. She made a terrible film, but she isnt stupid.

I feel like she should have directed the Charlie's Angels reboot. I thought Birds of Prey could have been somewhat better in general execution, but one of the standouts was definitely the action choreography, and I think that would have lent itself well to the Angels and called back to the insane action from the McG films.

@RingSlinger700 - I enjoyed the last "Charlie's Angels" movie, but then I enjoy all movies (I just ignore the parts I don't like). It's more fun that way, and I go to movies to enjoy and have a good time.
RingSlinger700
RingSlinger700 - 2/2/2021, 6:44 PM
@LSHF - I respect that, there's definitely movies that I've found entertaining even if they could have been better, which were my feelings with the last Charlie's Angels. I wouldn't be against a sequel actually, make it so the woman we saw posing as Charlie is actually a villain who is controlling the agency from the inside, turns all the other agents against the main three, forcing them to rely on their own resources whilst trying to stop this insider villain (who could be played by charismatic actress with action experience like Katheryn Winnick or Yvonne Strahovski). Call it Charlie's Angels: Last Resort. Along those lines possibly.

LSHF - 2/2/2021, 6:45 PM
@RingSlinger700 - I would enjoy that.
RingSlinger700
RingSlinger700 - 2/2/2021, 6:49 PM
@LSHF - Same, they just need to go kind of nuts with it. Sharpen some of the comedy, flesh out the characters, really hone in on the agents having detective skills in addition to the physical action, which should take a page from Birds of Prey, Kick-Ass or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (as someone already mentioned).
LSHF
LSHF - 2/2/2021, 6:53 PM
@RingSlinger700 - Yep. Pretty women and major ass-kicking!
