Unpopular opinion: Garfield is still my favorite Spider-Man, and I actually like the ending to Amazing Spider Man 2 (from when the Goblin comes in). It felt different from the rest of the movie and the relationship between Andrew and Emma is one of the strongest in CBM's.

@tmp3 - Maybe that effects my choice, as Garfield is far and away the best actor to take on the mantle, plus he has an amazing personality and again, that relationship with Emma Stone is definitively top 2 comic book movie romance sub plots

@DannRamm113 - Garfield's an actor who I've loved in everything I've seen him in, especially Silence and The Social Network, except for Spider-Man. Sony & Webb dropped the ball, a lot of the acting in those two films felt very stilted

He’s hit or miss. Mostly miss.

Only thing keeping me slightly optimistic is how Pascal and Feiges relationship has developed. I’d like to believe Feige has gave Pascal a bit of a back bone to tell Avi Arad when to take a back seat.

Orci can deliver an entertaining script, he’s proved it in the past, he just needs the right guidance.

Kurtzman and Orci doing solo acts only to produce twice the output of garbage. Gonna be tough to make something worse than The Mummy, but I feel like Orci's gonna try anyways
