these twitter warriors are [frick]ing jokes that don't understand that just because they read A script doesn't mean its going to happen beat for beat and line for line.


Oh, but the script has the joker killing people, so automatically this movie is problematic because now how are people going to realize that THE JOKER is not a nice guy

The cinematography for this looks pretty good. Fingers crossed it's received well.

It looks good visually. It's trying to be interesting and actually deep but.. it might not be. It seems that it could just be a case of it thinking it's being deep. I can't see this being a middle-ground film; it's either going to be really good or really bad. I can safely say that I'll be seeing it as soon as it's out though.

@MarvelousPORG, honestly i think that would be too high budget for they type of film success joker would have. Another low budget character piece would possibly be best.

My top choices would be:

Catwoman (woman in high class society loses it all, has to steel to get it all back)

Two Face (courtroom harvey dent drama dealing with childhood trauma and the split "big bad harv" from The Animated Series)

i like this direction and formula outside of the normal at this time in CBM era ... different pace and cinematography is beautiful . will definitely be odd without batman but i'm game if we get substance .

@tmp3 - i can't remember which podcast it was but they said De Niro was arguing with his ex-wife , because he was taking bad roles to keep up with her spending habits lol i'm not sure if this true but it's good to see him doing better roles again ...

he's technically one of the greatest so i don't think anything can tarnish his career imo unless it's something like soul plane 2 or frankinfish .......

A movie that should've been titled anything but "Joker." This has nothing to do with the DC Comics characters. It's just lightly draped in DC character branding. Call it "Clown." Call it "Bozo." I'm going to file this under ignore with Suicide Squad.

I really don’t want to let my self believe this movie, this new universe, will some how factor in Batman. It looks like this is a story of a version of the Joker. More a guy taking on the persona of the Joker, but expressed in a single one shot. Now doubt the movie will use the Joker character to say a whole lot, but ultimately he won’t resemble the Joker from the comics, part from his already established look. It’s an interesting looking project, but won’t believe it will spawn a whole universe with other comic book characters fully realized to make multiple franchises.
