This is my first article, and being more of an avid thinker than writer I thought I could pose an idea which could start some interesting discussion and creative thinking between us all.

Having read many of the articles regarding Superhero Feats I still get very conflicted about who really
is the toughest/strongest/most powerful specimen of the Marvel universe when it comes down to
a straight out slobber knocking, bleeding knuckle, fisty cuffs.

Will the GODS be the last souls standing?
Is HULK really the strongest there is?
Are NAMORS powers limitless in water?
Or have we not really seen all there is to the immense force that is JUGGERNAUT?

To hopefully make some sense of these questions for myself and you guys I give you...

Hulk or Thor.

We have seen Hulk been beaten by Namor,
Thor and Herc fight to a stand still aswell as
Juggernaut proving to be immovable by Hulk!

What makes you guys so certain Hulk or Thor would eventually prove victorious?
Dumegg
Dumegg - 10/26/2011, 7:57 AM
@ marv3l- just a hunch. i guess i was thinkng,
hulk - physicly the strongest there is, at least
thats what they say.

Thor - most combat experience, a few thousands yrs.
very strong and mjolnir.

but i'm not saying Namor is a pussy.
I figure Juggernaut might not last
to long in this fight and Herc isn't
as strong as hulk, less battle experience
than Thor and lacks Mjolnir, but I could
be wrong.
Dumegg
Dumegg - 10/26/2011, 8:07 AM
...and truth be told depending on who
takes out who,any one of them could
win, including Namor or Juggernaut,
and yes...Herc too.

@ Dumegg:
I here ya mate, I would love to see how Marvel would treat this fight
if they had to choose a winner.

I was hoping someone may have some interesting and new insight that may swing the decision. I'm not an expert by no means on the complete history of these brutes but I would love to see some new marvel knowledge fuel thrown on the fire!

Dumegg - 10/26/2011, 8:45 AM
i'll tell ya what, I'd certainly have to give
the itelligence factor to Namor and by a
great deal. hulk, least intelligent. I happen
to be a huge fan of the UFC. the one thing I've
learned is, intelligence and combat experience
usually wins fights. just because you are the
strongest doesn't automaticlly make you the winner.

it certainly would be an EPIC fight.

@Dumegg - If you like UFC, then you have to realize that speed determines a fight first. Like GSP and Anderson Silva for example, and if the speeds are in the same league, then its intelligence and experience tht decides, like with Randy Coture. I can't say 100% who'd win, but judging by their track records, I can say who won't. Thor and Herc are out of the running. Marvel has said who'd win, Hulk... He conquered the world, didn't he...?

Depending on how this is written, if Thor went batshit crazy like he did in the Blood&Thunder series back in the early 90's i'd see Thor taking this, but each of these guys has the potential to defeat the other depending on the location and storyline.

@moondoggyx- first off, A UFC FAN...ALRIGHT! Well you picked
In my opinion the 2 best fighters in the UFC. I agree that speed kills.
I also think that silva is devastatingly powerful as well as fast. He
Just keeps coming. I think his power and the barrage of punches
He throws is what really makes him amazing. His attack make his
Opponent wither under it.

GSP is another guy who is very fast, but I think GSP's greatest
Asset is his ability to beat you at yor own game. He's so good,
He beat Koscheck at wrestling and Josh is an outstanding
Wrestler. He won the fight using his jab. He's always adapting
And evolving as a fighter. He' s one of the most intelligent and
One of the best game planers. I think that's why he wins.
...and being fast don't hurt.
Thunderkutfo
Thunderkutfo - 10/27/2011, 7:21 PM
Agreed! GSP is the man, but i'd love to see either him or Silva face Cung le, i believe that would be a great fight.
Dumegg
Dumegg - 10/27/2011, 7:44 PM
Absolutely, it would be a great fight. Ther was talk of GSP Fighting
Silva. GSP is the man but that's a fight GSP should stay away from.
Silva is to powerful, to fast and his onslaught is just to much. Silva
Doesn't throw punch combos, he throws barrages of punches.
He crushed Mike Irving and he's a 205 lbs. He crushed Forrest
And Forrest basicly quit. Forrest will trade punches with anyone.
But not silva.

@Thunder
It's a tough decision and most people are going with Thor as I think out of all them we have seen his full potential. Though I believe given the chance, Namor and Juggs have a lot more to give in terms of going full out crazy than we have yet seen in comics.

Personally, not seeing HULK win would be a let down in my eyes.
If HULK isn't really the strongest there is then he needs to shut up!

I want to think of some other exciting brawls, has anyone got any cool ideas for interesting categories?
MoonDoggyX
MoonDoggyX - 10/28/2011, 11:00 AM
@Dumegg - Forrest DID quit. he was out classed at that moment in time. You gus remember when Vitor Belfor first hit the scene...? Man, that's a good example of speed killing!

@Marv3l - All "potential" aside, correct me if I'm wrong, but Hasn't Hulk already taken EVERYTHING Thor has to give and come out on top in the past...? He took the "godblast", and he tanks full force swings buy Mjolnir on the reg...
