Batman and Aquaman
A short story about when Batman goes on patrol and then Aquaman shows up.
By Bread - 8/22/2012
Batman is out at night, patrolling the streets of Gotham. He is perched on top of a building, looking over the city. Everything is quiet. Suddenly, Aquaman appears behind Batman.
AM:
Hey Bruce!
BM:
What are you doing here Arthur?
AM:
I wanted to see what’s up with Gotham, I hear it’s so dangerous out here.
BM:
How did you even get up here? This building is completely boarded up and there’s no body of water for miles.
AM:
I thought I could help patrol the city with you!
BM:
Patrol for what exactly?
AM:
Crime! Danger!
BM:
Why would I want to fight crime with a man who can talk to fish?
AM:
I could do other things too!
BM:
Can you get Warner Brothers to make your solo movie?
AM:
Well… no.
BM:
Does Warner Brothers intend to put you in the Justice League movie?
AM:
Umm… I don’t think so.
BM:
Are you a hot chick?
AM:
No.
BM:
Then I think we’re done here.
Batman then shoots his grappling hook and prepares to swing away. But then he pauses-
BM:
Oh yeah, If I ever see you in my city again, I’m gonna beat the living crap out you. Understand?
AM:
Yes Batman.
BM:
Good.
Batman then swings away into the night.
BM:
Toot-a-loo! Fish-Man!
