I don't think this show is getting a fair shake either.
Vonkrieg - 1/30/2011, 8:23 AM
The plot lines for this show are too thin and the characters lack any kind of depth.
Hellebus - 1/30/2011, 8:28 AM
The storylines are rushed heavily, the acting is horrid and it doesn't make sense on how half of the stuff happens...

I agree with Grif on this one... shit show.
InFamouslyCool - 1/30/2011, 8:28 AM

LEEE777 - 1/30/2011, 8:36 AM
Cool @ Guys!

Obviously anyone that thinks this show is sh1t hasn't got past the first episode, shame really as even Smallville started off slow (like many shows) and us cbm fans should support all our comic book shows... if we don't it affects others we might get in the future, be it any Marvel ones, DC etc!

After all its free, no point b1tching about it lol!

Btw cannot wait for the new Marvel shows.. well if they happen of course, plus Wonder Woman!

@LEEE777 I have seen all of the episodes and I have found nothing to redeem the poor acting and the poor writing.

gaikinger - 1/30/2011, 11:22 AM
this show is so circling the drain boys and girls. say buh-bye!
evil40 - 1/30/2011, 11:25 AM
This show is horrible. Just set back comicbook tv probably another 10 years
gaikinger - 1/30/2011, 11:29 AM
i guess what makes me mad about a show like this is it will scare away future corporate interest in pursueing more CBM like shows. If the outcome of superhero shows is always going to take them into the red...well remember insanity is doing something over and over and expecting a different outcome...throwing good money after bad.....all that, they'll stop trying to make em.

This show had so much potential and they blew it with this "Carnival of Crime" angle of characters. There was just so much more they could have done with this story but the writing has been awful. The COC could have easily been replaced by Summer Glau and an older, retired, kick-butt friend who could have rescued and taught our hero The Cape the ropes. Then there's the hero's son whom he constantly visits even when he's supposed to be dead. No way he can't recognize who his own father is. And even the action scenes are extremelty weak too. Such promise totally wasted too, and it pains me to say this will be another show with the talented Summer Glau that gets the axe. I still think The Cape should have been a tech-saavy, butt-kicking Summer Glau anyway.

I've really been enjoying this show. To me, it has a real comic book feel, from the colors used in the sets and clothes to the cinematography to the script. It's been a long time since I saw any live-action show that had that feel to it. I hope that this signals a return to real superhero shows and less garbage like Smallville, which seemed ashamed of its comic book roots.
