I met Frank Miller just the other day at this Restaurant near Guitar Center in Hollywood while he was leaving. I was so happy and excited and we talked for a bit. I couldn't get a picture but I finally got the courage to ask him about why Sin City 2 isn't going on. Here's what he said!
UPDATE: 4/2 - If you haven't figured it out yet, this was an April Fool's Day fake story.
I don't remember every word he exactly said but here's what he basically did say:
"Well, actually, I'm not supposed to say anything but I'll let you in on a little secret: we're already half-way done with the movie!" Here, I paused and I go "Wait...REALLY?!" He then replies "Oh yeah, totally! We've been at it for like, what? The past 3 to 4 weeks? It's some pretty good shit." Then I replied "Man, that is AWESOME!" He also told me that the people, the actors and Robert Rodriguez and everyone on the staff was sworn not to tell anyone, "Under pain of death (jokingly)" He laughed right after saying this and said it was for a viral marketing campaign of some sort and explained it but I didn't really understand it. We had to cut things short since he said he had to go and we shook hands and left. Let's all look forward to the movie now!
P.S. He actually also mentioned a certain year...2010!!!
