Once again, with a huge Spoiler Warning placed in the following, read only if you're into spoilers. Hit Fix is reporting that Liam Neeson - who played Ra's al Ghul in 2005's Batman Begins - has been spotted on the set of The Dark Knight Rises (despite his claims that he won't be back as Ghul unless he was asked). Below is what they have to say...

According to sources, none other than Liam Neeson was on the set of The Dark Knight Rises on Monday, shooting a scene as Ra's al Ghul. Right now, I can't confirm if the scene was meant to be a flashback or if it takes place in the current timeline of the films, but Neeson was there, and he was in front of the cameras. By Tuesday night, he was already in New York where he showed up for the premiere of the revamped Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. I have no idea if he's going to return to London for more The Dark Knight Rises shooting or not, but at the very least, we know he's stepped in front of the camera.

Elmayimbe over at LatinoReview seems to back up the claim that Neeson will appear in The Dark Knight Rises

What do you think? Is Ra's al Ghul returning or not? Anyway, The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012!
