Who Can Batman not beat with prep time? If Batman had all the prep time he needed who would still take him out? What characters are there that Batman simply cannot beat, no matter how much preparation he does?

The Twist:

Anyone from any Universe, but they can't be God-Like characters, Sky Fathers, Cosmic etc etc! Who ever he goes up against does not know the Batman is coming for them. They have no time to prep.

THE GODDAMN BATMAN

With prep against an un-godlike opponent? Yes, I'd say he beats them. Even Wolverine, Batman would win if given prep, maybe Batman would prep and beat Wolverine similar to how Wolverine beat Lady Deathstrike in X2....

This is one hell of a twist! With prep time, Batman wins unless there is NO way in the natural world to beat this person...

Nick Fury is the master of prep time, Secret Invasion saw to that :)

Without prep time, anyone with physical abilities that surpass human boundaries would beat the shit out of Batman; he's only a man. Skill-wise, Batman is hardcore, and he's a beast against people in his physical range, but against someone as fast as Quicksilver or the Flash, he simply lacks the perception range to even detect that he's in danger. Someone like Spider-Man or Beast would be even worse: they're fast enough to catch/dodge him, and strong enough to rip off one of his limbs accidentally.

With prep time, he's still at a slight disadvantage against other competent skill based people. He may need to attain their level in order to maintain. Batman's spent years training as a detective and martial artist, but against someone like Wong (Dr. Strange's assistant), he's got to be on his game with the martial arts AND he'd need to put in several years of prep time to protect himself from all the magic Wong can throw out, since Wong WAS in third place for the Sorceror Supreme title. But, against people that rely solely on power and not skill, Bats can beat them in time, he just has to counter their abilities (kryptonite anyone?).

With all the prep time in the world, Batman can't beat someone like Damian Hellstrom. Son of the devil, master of all of Hell's mystic arts, and he's fond of fighting. Pretty much the same with Ghost Rider, especially if you throw in the invulnerability, super strength and constant hellfire. Or Namor; he's strong enough to go toe to toe with the Hulk for a bit, he can fly, and his 'weakness' to being out of water for a long period of time just makes him angry :)

Sorry for my lack of DC references, I prefer Marvel overall. Technically speaking, anyone in DC along the lines of Superman or the Flash should be able to beat Batman no matter his prep time, they move FASTER THAN LIGHT. And anyone with control over time/space. And psychics.

@SillySteve181191: This is just a Batman love fest thread, rather than a discussion. You may as well throw him up against God characters in this case, you're making him out to be one. Batman gets all the prep time he needs, his enemies have no idea he's coming at all, much less a minute to prep themselves? What a twist.

This is why Batman is starting to suck, dude. His fans are as bad as hardcore Wolverine fans. I completely expect Batman to fight the DC equivalent of Galactus any day now.

I love fight discussion as much as anyone on this site, the the criteria for this battle is ridiculous. Its like saying who win between me and wolverine...but he didnt have any claws or adamantium bones, or healing ability , and didnt kno how to fight, and was missing both his legs. Its pretty lame. I like batman, i think he is one of the best non powered heroes out there but you cheapen him when u do stuff like this. Also when your reason is "but even then he would find a way, he always does! HE'S THE GODDAMN BATMAN!!!" it means you cant logically explain how he wins. I remember Deathstroke kicking his ass before as well as Catman, Bane broke his back, and i havent even touched the Marvel universe. My to Favorite characters are Silver Surfer and Thor, and they could destroy Batman in seconds.

Batman has been beaten a few times, but he always wins in the end. That being said I think if Batman ever fought the original X-Men he would be in some big trouble.
Batman isn't always prepared, although he is prepared a lot of the time. There are a lot of times when he had to rely on his insane intellect to outsmart his enemies, because he was in a situation he wasn't prepared for.
In my opinion, with the combined attributes and powers of the OG Mutant gang (including Xavier of course) that they could take him down, probably once at least.

@Darkhaven I am a Wolverine fan and I do not think that Wolverine could beat everyone. Wolverine has a lot of weaknesses just like Batman. So lets name some of the people that would be able to defeat Batman even with this ridiculous twist. First of all heroes with great senses could defeat him because they could smell or hear him coming up. Such as Beast. Anyone with blasts or a tactic to keep Batman at a distance. Lets say Green Lantern, Iron Man, and Starfire. Next lets say all the people that really have no weakness that Batman can exploit easily, such as Thor. Not to mention an enraged Hulk, or anyone that once Batman strikes could just shut his mind down such as Xavier or Jean Grey.

Batman is one bad dude. He never kills, but he almost always throws a beat down to whoever he takes on. If the bat has time to prep, then he wins.

What about Batman without his belt in a steet fight with another super hero. The catch is the other hero has no powers, just raw physical ability and combat skills.

I think Batman still wins.
