So, what did you guys think of the sixth episode of Arrow? Did you like the more humaized, realistic story surrounding the Royal Flush Gang or were you hoping for gliding playing cards?

THE ROYAL FLUSH GANG INVADES STARLING CITY — A gang of bank robbers, dubbed The Royal Flush Gang, hits a local bank and seriously wounds an off-duty police officer during a heist. Diggle (David Ramsey) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he needs to deviate from his father’s list and start helping the citizens of Starling City. Meanwhile, Tommy (Colin Donnell) asks Thea (Willa Holland) for relationship advice, but things get awkward when she realizes he was asking about Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Moira (Susanna Thompson) confronts Oliver about all of his recent disappearances in the middle of family functions. Posted on GreenArrowTV.com. John Behring directed the episode written by Moira Kirland & Marc Guggenheim.

THE HUNTRESS RIDES INTO STARLING CITY AND HEATS THINGS UP WITH OLIVER - Oliver (Stephen Amell) encounters a mysterious woman, Helena Bertinelli (guest star Jessica DeGouw), daughter of mob boss Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling), who he can finally be himself with, but he soon comes to realize she’s hiding dangerous secrets of her own. Helena is on her own personal mission of vengeance and Oliver is caught in the middle. Meanwhile, Tommy (Colin Donnell) is blindsided by an unfortunate turn of events and turns to Laurel (Katie Cassidy) for support. David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne also star. Posted at GreenArrowTV. David Grossman directed the episode with story by Andrew Kriesberg and teleplay by Geoff Johns & Marc Guggenheim (107)

It doesn't have to be a ton of action. As long as there's good story and it keeps me interested, I'm good! Great episode by the way!

the royal flush gang was better than i thought they would be i just wish they did something with the jackets like sown on card designs.the island flashbacks made the episode pretty interesting

Dislike- Calling the bank robbers Royal Flush Gang

Likes- Everything else. Awesome story. Diggle is still my favorite character and love the training at the beginning. The Laurel and Tommy relationship was done well. Everything in this episode was spot on. Was wondering how that book was filled up with info and his father killed himself before writing it.

Another great entry. This show has lots of potential but they need to glam it down some. I understand Arrow is on the CW and most of the shows have this clean/glamour image to them; Next season they need to make it more realistic (How people, sets presented), chip off some of that glamour and superficial dialogue thats going on at times. Can't wait to see what they have in store since, they actually have a following and can push the boundaries a bit more.

Is it just me or this Carter Bowen classmate could have fit as Bruce Wayne here perfectly

Loved the reference of Keystone City and Stagg Enterprises!

Stagg is the crabby father in law of superhero Metamorpho.

Kind of underwhelmed after last week's corker. Royal Flush Gang was kinda meh. Having said that, the highlight on Ollie's effort to bond with Moira is a nice touch and she continues to pique my interest. Hope the Huntress and Geof Johns next week don't disappoint!

No one mentioned the reference to Coast City? Or Keystone either?

Another good episode, glad to see its maintaining it's quality.

I was worried about how they were gonna do the flush gang but they did pretty good :)

Very good quality shows given that it’s a CW show. Royal Flush was as good as it gets for none super powered group. I just wish they would put Arrow in a mask. Huntress and Death Stroke have masks, why not Arrow.

I am really enjoying this show! Great episode!

@Charlie2094 yep last week or week before they "Bloodhaven" Nightwing's city was mentioned & this week "Coast City" was mentioned city of Hal Jordan The Green Lantern was mentioned great DC connections :)

I've been wondering if they're ever going to refer to him as "Arrow" or The Green Arrow would be better. The "Hood" shouldn't be his nickname for much longer.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 11/15/2012, 11:08 AM
God I am so sick of seeing Huntresses face for a thumbnail. Anyway I didn't watch the latest ep so.
CharacterAssassin - 11/15/2012, 2:15 PM
Could've expected more but what can you do? They have to cram all that stuff into a 30 minute show.
DarkArts - 11/15/2012, 5:02 PM
I just saw the ratings for Arrow 1-6. The ratings dipped at #4 which was on Halloween night but theyve went up the last 2 weeks and #6 almost matched the pilot.
That in itself is a story.
