The 6th Gun NBC

Jeffrey Reiner (Awake) will direct NBC’s western drama pilot based on the graphic novel, The Sixth Gun written by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Brian Hurt. Carlton Cuse (Lost) is handling producing duties while Ryan Condal (Hercules: The Thracian Wars) is writing the script. Reiner was a director and exec producer on Friday Night Lights and a few other shows but he also directed the dreadful Wonder Woman pilot for NBC.

Next up should be news on casting. More details as we have them.

During the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. In time, the Sixth Gun, the most dangerous of the weapons, vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, dark forces reawaken. Vile men thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun and killing the girl. Only Drake Sinclair, a gunfighter with a shadowy past, stands in their way.

I don't think the Wonder Woman pilot should be considered a negative for him. The problem wasn't with the directing, it was the script.
