Voltage cells? Interesting...
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:15 PM
electro is a scary villain if you think about it. what would happen if he shut down all power and internet and smart phones and tablets and stuff? i'd say people would start eating and killing each other in under one hour :)
Avengers52 - 3/18/2013, 12:19 PM
Finally a tease that actually shows something significant
sephiroth211 - 3/18/2013, 12:28 PM
Indeed, a teaser that gets the imagination running wild.
fettastic - 3/18/2013, 12:28 PM
Cool....I guess.
cipher - 3/18/2013, 12:29 PM
Heh, yeah Joll..Kids these days and their fancy toys. How WILL they survive without 'em? Says cipher while tapping away on his laptop..

Waiting for the phone to finish charging..

The one I paid WAY too much for. With all of the extra stuff that I don't really need or, uh..Use. Ever. I can't even figure out how to work most of that shit now that I really think about it..

.....

I'm shutting up now.

:P
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 3/18/2013, 12:30 PM
As long as this movie introduces something new it should be fine. The problem with the first one was that it was completely unoriginal, it just rehashed everything we had seen before with different actors.
BboiBlack - 3/18/2013, 12:30 PM
this is how you use media to sell a movie.
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:32 PM
@cipher - i'm still rockin' a tracfone :)
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 3/18/2013, 12:32 PM
electro shud be awesome but he is a [frick]ing idiot. if he powered nu yawk for a day - instant billionaire instead the lil bitch robs banks. tasm2 is following in that same vein.
spang2005 - 3/18/2013, 12:32 PM
This just makes me wish even more that the ASM movies could be somehow integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper. If it were, this and OSCORP would be two more elements that would enrich the MCU along with SHIELD, HYDRA, Project Pegasus, and AIM.
marvel72 - 3/18/2013, 12:33 PM
who visted curt conners in the prison cell? it wasn't electro, rhino or norman osborn.

so who was it?
MrReese - 3/18/2013, 12:33 PM
YES!!! I hate the fact that they killed off the other villains or they just had a change of heart.Lock those bastards up!! XD
IM53 - 3/18/2013, 12:36 PM
Spidey as a great baddie list. Would love Chamellean at some point
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 3/18/2013, 12:36 PM
marvel72

webb has no [frick]ing idea. everyone has asked him and he mumbles up some bullshit each time.
GAH - 3/18/2013, 12:37 PM
Wondering if we'll get a teaser with The Wolverine or Thor 2...
Spideyguy94 - 3/18/2013, 12:38 PM
@marvel72 I personally think that connors was still being psychologically effected by the lizard (the scales behind his ear) and he was hallucinating norman osborn.
Spidey31 - 3/18/2013, 12:38 PM
Agree @jollem he poses a great threat in a world pretty much run by technology. He can use his powers to manipulate the stock exchange, shut down phones, lights communication all across the board. I was thinking about this yesterday he can do serious national damage especially if he gets in range of drones
marvel72 - 3/18/2013, 12:39 PM
@ im53

i agree, spidey & batman have the best villains in all of comics.

Spideyguy94 - 3/18/2013, 12:42 PM
@GAH Maybe a teaser with the wolverine that will probably be first shown at comic con. And maybe a full trailer with thor, although i think it will likely be for the hobbit.
CaptainObvious - 3/18/2013, 12:43 PM
@marvel72- It was probably just some guy who works at Oscorp that nobody cares about and will have no impact on story.

I still cannot get over how awful that post-credits scene was.
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:44 PM
@Spidey31 - shutting down power to hospitals and whole cities...
MrSteiners - 3/18/2013, 12:46 PM
This pretty much teases Sinister Six.
StingrayX - 3/18/2013, 12:47 PM
So it's Marvels version of Arkham? awesome!
cipher - 3/18/2013, 12:47 PM
I remember learning about Ravencroft when I read Maximum Carnage as a child. Thought the name Ravencroft screamed bat-shit insane for some reason. Not sure why..Maybe it's because my eight year old self subconsciously made the connection between Poe, ravens, and foamin'-at-the-mouth moon howlin'.

*shrug*

Joll
Haha, the simpler the better in my eyes. The thought of another tech conversation with my friends scares me to no end..

I've gotta bluff and fake my way around all their hi-tech gibberish. I can put on a good poker face when I have to..But even that has it's limits ;)
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:48 PM
ya have some movies where there is a plot point about creating a source of unlimited power. electro can subject people to the opposite :)
marvel72 - 3/18/2013, 12:48 PM
@ ToTheManWithTheExceptionalBeard

it better be someone worth the wait.

@ Spideyguy94

maybe but hasn't chris cooper been cast as norman osborn,i suppose they can change actor when they see fit, marvel studios does it.
Spideyguy94 - 3/18/2013, 12:54 PM
@marvel72 Yeah true, but we didn't see his face and it was only about 10 seconds long so I don't even know if it can count as a recast.
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:55 PM
@cipher - if someone gave me a smartphone for free and i didn't have to pay monthly fees i would gladly accept one :)
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 12:57 PM
@Spideyguy94 - you can barely see his face. it's totally masse
Nemeres - 3/18/2013, 1:00 PM
Nice, introduction of new elements. But are they gonna do anything interesting (or anything at all, for that matter) with their new elements? *cough* Webshooters *cough* Mystery with the parents *cough cough*

Please, don't assume that (all) fans will fall like idiots for random fan service.
Spideyguy94 - 3/18/2013, 1:00 PM
@Jollem true that its masse, but I only knew it was massee because it was rumoured before and I recognised his voice.
OptimusPrime114 - 3/18/2013, 1:00 PM
So, is Ravencroft the Marvel equivalent of Arkham?
Funsize - 3/18/2013, 1:06 PM
Interesting :)
Spidey31 - 3/18/2013, 1:07 PM
Masse was most likely a filler actor, notice coopers hair resemblance too masses'
marvel72 - 3/18/2013, 1:07 PM
i know the secret of spidey's parents.......

peter's dad richard parker is a tiger.

Jollem - 3/18/2013, 1:13 PM
oh, sure. they could definitely change the actors
stevengil - 3/18/2013, 1:15 PM
^ LOL
DioFoRio - 3/18/2013, 1:16 PM
Jcam no one cares about your bowel movements
SlaveMasterFlexXx - 3/18/2013, 1:24 PM
This is getting interesting. Better than your shitty FoXmen jcameron.
Marauder - 3/18/2013, 1:28 PM
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Arkham Asylum of the Marvel Universe
superherofan21 - 3/18/2013, 1:33 PM
Ravencroft! Yay! I was so disappointed when the institution Connors was locked up in wasn't Ravencroft, but I'm glad to see they're using it in the films now! :D
WhiteSAMURAI22 - 3/18/2013, 1:33 PM
Maybe Electro breaks the Rhino out of there.
Explosiveninja5 - 3/18/2013, 1:38 PM
Can't we just get electro's costume instead of these unessisary tweets
AlexDeLarge87 - 3/18/2013, 1:46 PM
Shit just got real :)

Now im looking forward this film.
BenderDickCumPatch - 3/18/2013, 1:50 PM
Shut up people, Webb is creating something smart with Ravencroft.
Ffs. Can't you people see...
fanboy03191 - 3/18/2013, 1:56 PM
WOW! Happy to see this little piece of Marvel history making its way to the silver screen!
Spidey31 - 3/18/2013, 2:01 PM
Ravencroft, hope it playes a large role. Maybe that's where the rhino is
DioFoRio - 3/18/2013, 2:02 PM
I feel like with every spiderman sequel they should open up with an action scene of pete beating a second or third tier villain then them getting locked up. Like shocker or anyone for that matter.
Jollem - 3/18/2013, 2:05 PM
^yes. i liked that small part in tdk with the scarecrow. they coulda just used normal thugs, but having a baddie in a small part was cool
