He most certainly has three legs in the second variant cover.

Was the artist trying to go for some movement illusion? Because he failed miserably. Lol

Thought the same thing about the cover at first..
I am fairly certain that the "third leg" is actually meant to be the back side of the large spider head and was mis-colored.
Otherwise, failed movement art!

@TheRealIntruder - That's what he was looking for I guess. He was trying to put some "depth of field" effect into his drawings and he failed miserably. Check the first cover for further references.

Wish they would stop with Superman and Batman as well, but doubt it'll happen any time soon. The three most popular superheroes ever?! Nah,as long as it sells, they're all sticking around, including Spidey,no matter how sad anyone feels for him, lol!

I do like the first cover though,so that's the one I'll get. The art inside? Hmmm,as long as the stories are good I don't mind.

J-R!

@MrDeadRabbit I understand that notion, however since being an artist is his profession, meaning it's the thing he's expected to be good at, he should know better than to draw 3 legs on him. It's still great art, don't get me wrong. It's just that the 3rd leg is a glaring issue with it.

Also, if the world ran with that logic, that would mean that only film makers would be able to critique movies, only writers could review books, only game designers could rate video games....
