LOL dude you still spelt it wrong. "There" is indicative of a location or spot. "They're" is refering to someone's actions when doing something. The word you want is "THEIR" showing ownership of something. It's their grenades. Also I think Vader used the force to set them off not just a random malfunction in each individual one...no way. Besides if it were a glitch like that, then it would just be lazy lazy writing.

Things are getting crazy with the Star Wars comics and animation. Vader is much too strong. Vader was going to be 2x Palpatine's strength before he was carved up and cooked. Afterward he was supposed to be 60% as strong as Palpatine. Which would make him just another Jedi or Sith. None of the Jedi in the prequels could take out squadrons of highly trained pilots and they couldn't take on that many soldiers.

This stuff and the animation is like someone's Darth Vader masturbation fantasy. I'm wishing Lucas had kept Star Wars but had the balls to hand over the films to someone else. At least the continuity would be somewhat intact. The continuity is totally fvcked up now. There's no way the sad, handicapped old man in ROTJ could do this shit.

This is the Vader everyone wanted to see, not the whiney date rapist.

Less crying and more dying! That should be the new motto for anyone who writes Darth Vader (after the prequels)

@ManDeth even then he's still very powerful, the Emperor himself is no slouch when it comes to raw force power, he's probably a good chunk under Yoda but still above most of the living Jedi during the Clone Wars now.

Notice also that in both comics and animation he doesn't move much, he is still handicapped and he is just using the force more creatively having had years of experience over the rash Jedi brat he was in epIII.

Why are the rebels armed with assault rifles and grenade launchers? Did the artist forget this was Star Wars? Where are the damn blasters?

@Macksimus yep, it seems comic book artists really have problems drawing anything that deviates from their version of "norm" not just chest sizes.

@Macksimus- Good catch on the weaponry, I think you are right on, the artist forgot he was drawing Star Wars. Now that I see it, it is another thing that pisses me off at Marvel Comics, specifically the lame excuse for editors over there. This should have been caught and changed before these panels were even inked!

@grif I don't know, there is a novel of the new canon with a similar premise but in that he's stranded with the emperor not long after being cut up by Obi Wan.
