[frick] all of you bashing Bachalo's work! it's got style and flavor! he's one of my favorite artists out there! i'm a fan of more stylistic art but you don't hear me bashing your favorite artists it pisses me off. you don't have to like it but you should respect it

Cap always has been and always will be my favorite superhero, but I never liked the chainmail look some artists give him. He's got the indestructible shield; the hell does he need chainmail for? Just saying.

PS: Walt Simonson's art has gone seriously downhill since his legendary run on Thor back in the 80s. That looks like junk!

And the other art, by Chris Bachalo? That style may work well in a Gorillaz video, but I hate it in comics, and that looks like crap. My two cents.

I am actually really digging Chris Bachalo's work. I know it's not for everyone, but it has some real personality and expression.

Makes me want to start reading comics again.

Is it me or are they showing Steve Rodgers in costume w/o his mask more, I've even seen a few toys now, I mean I understand the need in the film, but I seriously HOPE they're not trying to phase it out slowly.

Agreed Nomis. Cap looks like he has no musculature whatsoever and fat in some panels, and whats with those gloves? Horrid work and too many liberties taken with his costume. Marvel sure does hire some $hit artists.
