CaptainProg That depends on quite a lot of things though. He could but Thor has held his own against him. He has even beaten him by himself sometimes. It would depend on how angry Hulk was and who was on the Avengers team that fought him.

Whats the release date on this? I can't find it on the Marvel release calendar. AVX was a great start but kinda bummed I waited so long just to have to wait longer for the action to start.

it would be a tight battle, but i would like the Avengers to win and beat the X people. the "X's" had their time now it's about the "A's" so --- "Avengers Assemble!"

@marvelguy Jean hasn't been relevant (or alive) for years. It's all Emma Frost now.

Have you seen what Cyke has been doing lately? Who saw him doing this shit back in the 80s? If you want to see 2-dimensional, then Cap is about as stale as it gets. When's the last time he's bent his moral code? He's Superman without any powers. (no wait... actually Superman has actually been way more edgy than Cap, I take it back)

X-men will take this because Hope will pull some deus ex machina thing again, like always.

If Cyclops still had all of the mutants on Utopia, then the Avengers might tread more carefully. With the schism between the mutants, however, the Avengers have a good chance of winning. Don't know how, though. Cyke is an excellent strategist on Captain America's level and Juggerlossus can negate Red Hulk's presence. It's going to be hard to pick a winner but the battle is going to be a hell of a lot of fun.

I haven't been reading "The Avengers" as of late, or the Hulk. But caught up with these when the war started, previous issue.

I'm wondering however. Where is the Hulk ?

That's WHEN the Phoenix Force arrives. Before that, this battle is up in the air. The Avengers will be bringing tech along with themselves. Once the Phoenix Force arrives, however, all bets are off.

Yeah I hear you. However, I meant that the odds are on The Avengers easily beating X-Men, before it arrives, but perhaps not ..

(On a side note, since Thor is away confronting The PF, I guess the odds are a little better for The X-M. And also The Hulk not getting involved as of yet.)

I like how there is some doubts voiced among the Avengers to Cap's plan.Wolverine is not the only one with divided loyalties-Ms. Marvel, Ben Grimm,and Beast have friends on both sides as well.We've already seen the preview images where Iron Fist is protecting Hope,so if THAT can happen,then all bets are off..

I think victory goes to the X-men, Cyclops can find a way to defeat Cap's team but agree with those who have said tat Marvel most likely will have the Avengers winning the confict.

Cyclops is, right now, one of the coolest characters out there. Love the way he's being written.

Avengers all the way. I used to be a huge fan of the X-Men back in the 90s but they haven't really caught my interest since then afterwards. Plus, Avengers seem to have more of a level head as far as their approach about what to do with the Phoenix Force. So yeah, I hope Avengers wins
