COMICS: Marvel Reveals Several Pieces Of Artwork Teasing AVENGERS VS. X-MEN Fallout

Marvel has revealed the Avengers Vs. X-Men #12 cover and a fun one-shot from Skottie Young, as well as some very ominous post-AVX teasers and announcements of a few new comic books which will launch at the conclusion of the event.

As well as revealing the covers for Avengers Vs. X-Men #12 and Skottie Young's one-shot, Avengers Vs. X-Men: Babies, Marvel has announced plans for several new books which will follow the conclusion of the event this October. "We’re going to do another Marvel Point One," Joe Quesada confirmed at the "Cup O' Joe" panel at today's San Diego Comc-Con. The book will be from Nick Fury Jr.'s point of view and will feature five currently unrevealed characters. Avengers + X-Men will apparently be the opposite of AVX: Versus, while Avengers Vs. X-Men: Consequences is set to be a five-part series from writer Kieron Gillen. As you can see from the various pieces of artwork and teasers below, the Marvel Universe is soon going to be a VERY different place...

Probably not though, because you can see Tony in that pic of the dead body. In his red and gold armor.

I wish Marvel would put its pride aside and just relaunch like DC did. I'm a Marvel guy and I'm really digging the DC relaunch. The only titles from Marvel worth reading anymore is Uncanny X-Force, Daredevil, and Punisher

Blackandyellow it looks like Scarlet Witch and Hope are powering Iron Man up. You can see their powers gathering on each side of the suit.

Now that there is a clearer shot of Iron Man's new armor, the design itself is not so bad although movie inspired, (a recurring theme I'm not a fan of, movies and comics should be kept separate) but that ugly helmet and the black needs to go. Guys, Cyclops is not dying, his piece of crap new costume was already shown. Thankfully, Spider-Man's costume wasn't changed. That right there is a timeless and iconic design.

hope it's Namor.. should it turn out to be Nick Fury, the REAL one as in sr, not jr, I might just quit Marvel. Well properly not, but that would be an incredibly lame move, especially since Fury doesn't play an important role in the story, not yet at least

Again from the top, Marcus Johnson aka Nick Fury Jr had his story told in the recent Battle Scars mini that took place after Fear Itself. He is now an agent of Shield and Nick Fury is still alive. They don't need to kill him because everyone is where they are with the death of a hero.

Nick Fury Sr doesn't need to die because it's not going to put Jr into being an Agent of Shield any more then he is.

plus Nick Fury Sr had the infinity formula extracted from him so he is more vulnerable. thats why he wanted Marcus Fury to take up the mantle for SHIELD's next great agent

@manofsteel1942 Marcus Fury got his eye cut off like his father because Orion wanted to see if the infinity formula is in his blood as well but instead of just getting a regular DNA test they just tortured Fury Jr by cutting his eye off

I think Cyclops will die. As for the promo showing what looked like cyclops in a new suit, Bendis mentioned on his twitter that no one said it was cyclops in that picture.....so, theres a good chance someone else takes up the suit.
